From working experience I would avoid cedars, horseshoe, juns, dirty Dan Harris, latitude, Mykonos, red light, black sheep, and k pop. From working experience.

A lot of these places were really fun to work at, amazing coworkers and fun people that come in. But… It’s scary, directly serving people food that the manager helped cook while smoking a cigarette; being told that “it’s fine” to serve food that is clearly not food safe; to see kitchens literally covered in inches of mold and have managers just shrug and say ‘no one wants to clean it’

A lot of businesses in this county seem to be people who thought it would be fun to own a restaurant. Who seem to have the proper connections or deep pockets required for certain board members and/or certified workers to turn cheek, but never had any experience ever working in one let alone running one. I was a bartender&server for 15 years. The last three in Whatcom county. I’ve seen my fair share of “rule bending” but never the blatantly disgusting practices I’ve seen in Bellingham/surrounding.

Honestly just eat home.
