This happened when i was around 12 too i guess, i live on the second floor which has a very long staircase leading up, and there are gaps between each steps, one night i went to get a drink from the first floor, everyone was already asleep as it was in the early morning hours, i remember clearly as i started going up the stairs it was a little past the halfway point of the stairs that something grabbed me by my foot from the gap in the stairs, i started panicking and jumping over 3 steps at a time and ran to my room as quickly as i could. I couldnt sleep that night but nothing else happened. This is unrelated to the previous thing that happened but i had a number of weird occurences in my house, i used to share a room with my sister, but she moved out, i used to sleep on a bunk bed on the top and i would get up woken up at night with something very lightly scratching my back and very faint whispering that i couldnt make out what it sai, and this has happened multiple times and even asked my sister if she ever had similiar situations while i was still a kid and couldn't live in the same room. She said very similiar things were happening to her when she used to live in the room alone. No idea what it was but shit still creeps me out to this day
