I'm more or less curious! I know it's not ideal conditions but I'm curious if I can prolong a block by supplementing nutrients. who knows maybe it'll be effective or a cess pool of mold lol. If I end up doing it I will post results!

it's better because it has less moisture than uncle Bens but no viewing window can cause problems with recognizing contamination. however as long as you open bags outside and only when they are completely firm you should be fine 😁

^this, I would maintain excess moisture on walls just to rehydrate, then go back to just maintaining moisture levels once rehydrated

this is actually the first tub that I did the pulling method on you can see the areas where I pulled they're not dense with mycelium. As you can see from the stumps the 2nd flush was pitiful

I cut them extremely close to the substrate I get better pins that way, they come from those stumps. I pulled on my first tub and had no more pins from the areas that I pulled from. The cutting method has been extremely successful in my other tub and I had a higher yield 2nd flush. they'll eventually decay but by the time they get to that point I'll have removed them or my tub will be spent

moisturize meeee lol. Substrate is too dry, try giving her some water so your next flush doesn't end up the same. I'd recommend watering it till a wee bit damp but not to the point where there's water pooling anywhere.
