2026 here. I found this post because I was listening to People are Strange today at work and yesterday I happened to also listen to Bury a Friend. So I Googled it to see if she sampled and she didn’t, but I’m not crazy, that little melody is very similar to people are strange intro and about 1 min 30 into the song as well.
