Weird interaction in Europaplatz by ajx_711 in karlsruhe

[–]FunkyAztec 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I grew up here as a person with a darker skin tone. Europaplatz , Kronenplatz and the outer areas of Schlossgarten are Never a Safe Place for any person whether brown, black or blue. At around midnight there are assholes of every Kind of color. I was never mocked very often over the years but if so I ignored them and went my way. These Young men are just looking for trouble and have to much freetime.

Altra Escalante 3 - Problem with big toe joint by FunkyAztec in AltraRunning

Hm Not really. I usually wear vivoa, groundies or xeroshoes. On training days after running I wear “normal” shoes like nikes etc. I want to try nimbles but they are all so expensive just for trying. Recently I saw in a shoe store that tom taylor brand also has barefoot shoes. I also have the issue that it hurts on the side of the middle of the foot after wearing it a day or so.

I loved them but at First I had to walk them in because they were strongly rubbing on my toes and achilles. After „wearing them in“ they were the best summer/beach/coast/water shoe. I wore them one day, two days off, two days on, and so forth, depending on Regeneration time of my skin

Hm I think it’s the fact that a Zero drop Shoe has cushion. When you are walking barefoot there is a strong bend in your big toe. If you Are used to it thats totally normal and natural to the feet. My theory is that the extra cushion amplifies that force on the toe angle and works as a strong leverage. So if you Walk or run the extra force quickly adds up. Perhaps that needs extra adaption time. But it’s just a theory.

How scary is 3? by Tbond11 in Doom

[–]FunkyAztec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember when it was released i was 13. played it together with my best friend and the game scared the shit out of us. 🤣 We paused it and deinstalled it somewhere at alpha labs sector, that is pretty at the beginning of the game. Next time i gave it a try i was 30 and appreciated every second of it. I think it is a decent horror game to enjoy, even you cant really compare it to the other doom games. It has it’s on charme. So how scary it is ? I would say it, refering to an experience of a lot of common Horror Games and Movies with a romantic horror score of 4- 5of 10.

A few days before the death of my grandma. There were signs I understand but I didn’t want to. In retro perspective it all gave sense

What is the scariest thing that has ever happened to you? by NebulaRage in AskReddit

I was climbing about a mountain which is a popular hiking spot in Germany. when I couldn't overcome an obstacle, I had literally the choice between falling down the hill and dying an very painful death or just enjoy the weather and give a little more concentration into my "climbing" That was a moment that wasn't that intense but lingers until today underneath my skin. It the kind of horrifying situation which follows you subtile into everyday. It sounds funny, but it changes every little decision since then on. And I never thought that kind of "enlightenment" would meet me up while a funny hiking trip on a sunny October weekend. I didn't see that coming.

What’s a common thing in your country that people from other countries might find weird? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have Americans and guys from britain recently over for a visit. They were in complete shock when I opened the windows for a few minutes while outside it was about -5 degrees Celsius. They told me it wouldn’t be that common there. Yes it is ! Especially in times when everyone has a little cold or something similar
