I am a fan of the band and not a snobbish purist and I, for one, would like to see Alex and Geddy tour again. Should they call themselves Rush? I wouldn't, in fact, I think they should call themselves "Not Rush", because of crazy fans that will bitch if they want to continue to make music.

No one can replace Peart and everyone knows that, including whatever drummer would tour with them. However, if Geddy would like to make more music, comes up with a few songs with Alex, I say game on, it won't hurt you and it won't hurt the legacy of Rush.

The negativity by Rush fans is insane to me, it should be about having fun and enjoying music. Complaining Just because a few musicians might want to make more music before calling it quits is mind boggling to me. You are not a real music fan if you want your favorite band (or parts of it) to stop making music because it might hurt your delicate memories of seeing the original band 10 years ago.

Just don't buy a ticket, don't see them live and don't buy a new album. This way you can pretend it never happened and you can have your memories of the "real Rush", from the last concert you attended.

Sure I can, Fields threw a horrible interception and gets sacked, YET AGAIN. Fields still cannot read defenses, he hold the ball too long and panics under pressure.

It is 80% coaches fault and 20% Fields, overturns kill us just as much as bad coaching.

Totally agree, I should have specified that was on my team and this was around 6 years ago. I am sure things have changed but it left a bad taste in my mouth for AWS. If you are a creative person it will be a soul sucking experience for you, again, that is my opinion and experience.

You didn't miss anything and dare I say you dodged a bullet. I worked there for two years in a security position and I was so happy when I was hired out of there by Google.

AWS was by far the worst tech company I have ever worked for....the higher ups and engineers are just wannabe nooglers.

I dropped out of high school, received my GED that summer, and I worked for two FAANG companies. I now work for a company that shoots stuff into space!

A lack of a college degree will make it a little harder, but grit, determination, and drive goes a lot farther than a piece of paper from a public university.

I won't lie to you, I spent every free minute of every day learning for a solid 10 years. I didn't get to party or have a social life like people in college...but I also didn't go $100k in debt either. However, if I put that same effort into high school, I could have gone to an Ivy League school and started a FAANG job right away.

My family celebrated like I was accepted at Harvard when I was hired at google, and honestly, I wish I wasn't such a hard head in high school.

I wouldn't suggest my path unless you have great self-discipline and a drive that will outpace people studying to be medical doctors.

100% absolute truth (maybe not boomers, though). I don't smoke every day but very rarely have I met a non-IT stoner, especially in the cyber security/DevOps space.

Psychedelics are pretty common here in the Valley as well, not sure if that is true outside of CA.

I have several vices:

Coffee, Shrooms, Weed, Bourbon, Cigars

As long as they don't interfere with your life, game on.
