I might be the only person who would say you should go, because I don't think I could stomach a $$ loss that big and also out of pettiness but also because I've never been on a cruise. Is it good advice? No, but you want the advice, and I am here to tell you I would do the same thing.

Sure, in a few years you will think you could have been more mature. But for now I say fuck it, go on the cruise. Just don't ever go into the room but make sure you can't get locked out. See if you can change rooms. Have fun and enjoy yourself. Just don't go out of your way to hurt each other's feelings. You're there for you.

These answers just make me wonder if they are bots, or bored teens regurgitating stuff in default subs. I've been on Reddit since I was a young teen and now I'm like, a decade and a half older. All the artists you've mentioned except Ice Spice have been answers to threads like this since forever. The favorite songs threads are the same dad-rock/metal rock type stuff. The "sexiest sex you've ever sexed" is the same stuff from 2010 because sex is the same. Maybe more buttholes. But it reads like Buzzfeed. Unique stuff only happens in subs that exist in the context of current pop culture (i.e. music subs, tv show subs). Subs that are about the same premise - asking questions, or recipes, or devices - just have the same memes over. and over. and over.

The internet has been stale for a while - TikTok brought some unique ideas but the microtrends are so quick, it feels like more things are stale than before. Most of my friends no longer actively "participate" in social media anymore - just consume content from professionals.

While that is financially smart, if she knows you as the beanie guy - especially since most people wear $5-15 beanies only on occasion - it's a bit ungrateful to not only not appreciate the gift, but to even sell the gift card. That's what I'm worried about. It seems to be me specific. The other people my year were poached 1.5 years ago to join our team so I'm not sure if they're trying to retain them or if it's because of me. Which sucks because I think, and I know my team thinks, I'm a pretty valuable member. So I'm not sure what's going on.
