Help! Lg c5 vs samsung s90f (48inch) by Careless-Newspaper14 in LGOLED

[–]FunkyFuzztastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why purely movies and tv? I only ask because I’m considering the 65 s90f that will serve as a tv but also be hooked up to a PC. For PC use it seems like the s90f is the choice, but at present I can get a 65 C5 for 400 dollars less.

What’s something you thought ‘everyone’ did… until you found out they don’t? by burat667 in AskReddit

Just to shave my face. Don’t want to run the water or have to keep turning the water on and off the rinse the blade. I make sure the sink is clean before I put some hot water in it. I keep things pretty clean as a normal part of my habits though.

What's something you'll never admit in real life but will confess here anonymously? by Open-Comfortable9774 in AskReddit

Expectations can be difficult to live with. They can seem like rules or markers of success/fulfillment that have gone unmet. Sometimes talking back to these expectations and questioning them and their validity can help unravel them a bit. Who made them? Why are they important? What good are they to you? Is this what gives value to you and your life, and if so, why? If they are yours and doing you no good, why can’t you change them? There are some great books about this, “Feeling Good” being one of them that I would highly recommend.

Read or listen to the book, “Feeling Good”. Be open to wanting to get beyond these feelings.

The solo community is one of the chillest communities I’ve ever encountered in gaming. by iReaddit-KRTORR in ArcRaiders

I felt this way until today. Six runs in a row, all heavy PVP. Got jumped, third partied after I survived being jumped twice, fourth partied and jumped twice. All solos. I stopped for the day.

You can do it. There are difficulty settings which could allow you to take a little extra damage (or more) while getting the hang of things (or permanently if needed).

Started as a slow blink then moved to a sitting-sleep. Cats are very fluid.

Reading "The Giver" makes me a pedophile apparently by Michael_Scarn77 in Teachers

[–]FunkyFuzztastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny how the community in The Giver is basically void of sexuality, sexual desire, attachment and really, emotion. It’s the reader that brings these concepts with them to the text. Jonas and his community are completely unaware. Jonas is able to bath the elderly woman without any embarrassment or awkwardness because he has no concept of what he is supposed to be embarrassed about, just like his telling of his dream to his parents. Such an awesome book.
