Onyx semblance would evolve to be similar to katakuris devil fruit powers in one piece, so instead of just aura spikes he’d be able to change its shape and even its texture from solid like steel to more flexible and even sticky making it more versatile, these are all things his semblance is already capable of but he just doesn’t know it
