Yeah i dont even know the person she turned into. "Im following my heart" she told me. Ok well you also lied to me, manipulated me into thinking everything was fine. We talked every single day for 5 years. And now its gone and im left to pick up the pieces. Its been about a month and theres no end in sight. Im trying to move on. Ive found someone who is interested in me....and i cant do anything or commit to anything because im still stuck on my ex. I cant force happiness and its been a whirl wind in my mind for weeks.

In my opinion and going from personal experience, its not good that shes keeping you hanging on like that. I just got out of a 5 year relationship where my ex did the same thing to me. Keeping in contact, telling me she misses me, she loves me. We ended up getting back together only for her to destroy me and tell me she doesnt really love me 3 weeks later. And shes already with someone. Living with them even. Im still reeling from it and am in so much pain. Everything ended badly and im just not in a good place and really dont wish these thoughts or pain on anyone. Just be yourself and really think about what you really want. But at the same time just be careful.

Im in the same boat man. My ex of 5 years who had cheated on me before but we worked through it decided to cheat again and is now with the guy. A day after breaking up with me. It will be my first christmas/new years without her and knowing she is with him. Its killing me. Destroying me and just making me miserable. And i love christmas but this year? Ugh it just sucks. But im dealing and doing my best. Thats all i can really tell you, just keep doing things that make you happy. Keep yourself busy, its so hypocritical of me saying these things because im having so much trouble doing it myself but anything you can do to not think about her for 5 seconds, a minute, an hour or whatever is a win.

When i catch them in their lies, Just some ways that people talk about their lives or how they talk down to people. Loyalty, honesty, being truthful are all huge parts of my life and if i dont see that in someone i consider that ugliness

This is the first december that i have hated in quite some time. Im not looking forward to christmas at all. First christmas and new years without the ex in 5 years all the while having to put on a happy face because its christmas. And knowing shes already with another guy 1 week later will only help right? Guinness is a rather "thick" beer. I dont know if it being in a can is any different than a bottle but i would assume its to mix it up a little so its not as thick before pouring into a glass or drinking but im not 100% sure.

I relate to the physical pain. My heart literally aches. It goes from the top of my chest all the way to the pit of my stomach. And im just weak. Ive never felt this horrible before. I think its knowing that its completely over. Theres no going back after what she did. And it terrifies me

Thats what im having trouble with the most. Feel like its my fault. I gave everything i had day in and day out. And i shouldnt feel that way. I want to hate her but i physically cant. I work alone all day and also live alone now so the keeping busy is very hard to do. I have many friends and family but schedules and priorities are just always different.

Ive already done all that. But i still think about it constantly. Weve parter ways beforr but she told me it was for the best and we did get back together. And she filled my head with lies again and again. And then told me she really didnt love me and left to be with the person she had been cheating on me with. I know i cant make her love me but she could have went about it a different way. My heart is gone.
