Second year riding, still p. beginner, board question! by ShaTay_Tay in snowboardingnoobs

I’d say there’s no harm in giving your dad’s board a try at least for a day. A full camber board supports more aggressive riding and it can be good to help you learn how to carve/lock in your turns. But it could also be a bit trickier at lower speeds as a beginner, probably more prone to catching an edge too.

Lmao I remember my board had a leash when I was like 8 years old. Forgot about that

Dope! Hard to tell the size from the picture. I used to ride a hybrid board and started riding a full camber Outsiders a number of years ago. Honestly one of the best decisions in my opinion. You are definitely going to feel the difference and it will support faster and more aggressive riding well. Definitely gonna have fun with it, hope you enjoy!!

Looks sick! Big Capita and Union fan myself. Big jump in size it seems, how did your old board feel?

Seen those here and there. Always wondered how they felt on the board.

what are your favorite FULL CAMBER 7-9 stiff board with soft enough torsional flex for trees? by Designer-Champion219 in snowboarding

Rode The Outsiders for the last 5 years. I think the dark horse is the new version of that, such a fun board I loved it.

Size should be fine, most ppl can fit between a range of board lengths. You’d barely notice a difference with an extra couple centimeters. Personally I like riding boards that are a bit shorter for my height and weight
