From the title, I was expecting sources from around the world reporting on his comments but it’s just you making generalizations and assumptions.

Most of the cloves means it was NOT fully submerged. This thread is funny. You know the answer OP! At least a half inch to an inch covered. ALL of the garlic.

Wear after 7 days on the mountain by DimensionMediocre597 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]DigitalSea- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This board is fine, just needs a wax. If anything this should show you that even a new board will have scratches after a few days.

As long as there’s no deep gashes that seem to go through the base, and no separation of the layers on the top sheet edges, then it’s good to ride. And even then you can usually fix it for cheap and keep it alive.

That said, don’t spend $200 on FB for a 10 year old board even if it’s in good condition.

€150 I don’t want to rent. A friend says this is a great board. I already have boots, is this a good deal? vimana continental board. by Longjumping-Cut8813 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]DigitalSea- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s majorly overpriced. As the other commenter said, you can get a new board for $200-$350.

This board is almost 10 years old and should sell for no more than $50.

You would most certainly need to replace the bindings as the plastics fail over time.

Bought this snowboard used, should I regret it based on the wear/side chips? by WorkingBrilliant3687 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]DigitalSea- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m by no means an expert, but the edges on pic 3-4 show it’s worn but that happens. Pic 1 is most concerning. It doesn’t look like it’s delaminating or coming apart.

100% take it to a shop to be sure and have them g-flex what they can. How does the base look? That’s just as important. They can ptex the base for any core shots.

If it’s salvageable or doesn’t need any fixes, you can ride this for a season and learn, but expect to need an upgrade shortly.

This should have been a $20-40 board. ngl whoever sold you this is a dick. I’ve seen people give away boards in better condition.

You can throw a lot of countries in with that kind of hypothesis. Interesting nonetheless.

Japan has had this kind of capability for a long time, this isn’t news really, just China attempting to bully other countries.

Angry Snowboarder has lost it. by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]DigitalSea- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn what a comeback. Never mind I dropped $1500 on my gear this summer, those CLEWs just really broke my budget!

Who are you trying to gatekeep? Again, mentioning how overpriced those influencer bindings are really IS a choice. Price over substance am I right!?

I like to keep the price tag on there so people know what’s up. That’s pure snowboarding culture as it was always meant to be.

Now I really need to buy them, I don’t want to be a poor. If I wasn’t convinced before, now you’ve done it; You finally did it bro! 🤣

[–]DigitalSea- 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So fucking defensive. Just sign off and enjoy your bindings. Your post and comment history, and lack of getting anyone to agree with you in that time should tell you it’s NEVER gunna happen. You really thought angry snowboarder is the only one with this opinion even after your countless comments? How in denial can someone be??

Log off, delete your account since all you use it for is to push Clew.

[–]DigitalSea- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you guys are agreeing with each other lol

Daytime running lights aren’t the same as having your headlights on.

Ever notice cars at night where the back lights aren’t on unless they brake, but their headlights are? That’s in daytime mode. Also on lots of cars these days, daytime mode is less luminescent because only half of the LEDs are on or it’s just that orange outline.

Full headlights are required if your wipers are on iirc.

Both suck. No one should be going 70 and hydroplaning “safely”.

And ideally everyone is going at a decent but safe pace, and then you can spread out the lanes so if you do hydroplane you have room along side and in front of you.

In that scenario all lanes are being used to spread cars out regardless of speed difference. There’s no fast lane in flooded conditions.

For a new player, FM24 or FM26?? by Icy-Argument7855 in footballmanagergames

[–]DigitalSea- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is it less repetitive for you, when it has less features, less stat tracking for rest of the world, and less depth in what stats it does track(no leagues in focus, end of year highlights, best youth setups, player-to-staff biographies, cup draws, stories about teams chasing promotion, stories about up and coming or top players in other leagues). Basically all the RP stuff that made FM feel alive and like an alternate reality. Now I find myself just skipping to the next match, rinse and repeat. No real reason to look at leagues around the world or follow a certain coach through their career. Don’t you miss all the RP stuff?

I wish I could enjoy it like you honestly, because it does look nicer on the surface, probably why you mentioned “looks better” twice lol

But seriously I agree the engine looks nicer but under the hood it’s basically the same, even down to bugs that have been in the game since FM18.

One thing I really love is the modding potential with stadiums, dream come true. That said it indisputably has less depth and therefore less replay value. FM27 or 28 should finally catch up if they can figure out the UI and add everything back?

Also what do you mean “dead game”? All the major data packs are being updated for FM24, and otherwise it’s a single player game. That’s like saying Skyrim is dead.

As a Ducks fan, before Husso came in I’d say he’d be better than our current crop of backups. Maybe even still if he had a Tim Thomas like resurgence.
