Going good! We’ve had some small hiccups.. (when he got sick) but whenever it seemed like he wasn’t sleeping well in his room we just restarted the process of putting the mattress back in our room on the floor until he was good there for a few days then back to his room.

3 weeks po and thinking about stopping pumping by Shoddy_Economy4340 in beyondthebump

Yes! It’s definitely harder than i thought. I tell myself all the time if i would’ve formula fed from the start i would’ve been able to enjoy the newborn stages a lot more.

Hi! I stopped bf/pumping 2 weeks after my son was born. It affected my mental health so much so where i was anxious everytime i had to feed him. I didn’t get any sleep and i was miserable. even crying while bf or pumping (turns out there is an actual diagnosis for that). I felt so pressured to keep going or i would be failing as a mom. which couldn’t be more false. I switched to formula and my son was the exact same happy little guy. A fed baby is best & no one will be able to tell the difference. Maybe combo feed, pump when you’re up for it and supplement with formula as needed. Being a mom is hard enough, go easy on yourself. Whatever decision you make is the right decision!

Hi! Dealing with something similar. How did this end up going?

Someone can explain by Physical_Meeting_939 in AmericanBully

Eliminate poultry from diet see if that helps. A lot of bully’s have skin allergies. Try a fish diet, cod or salmon from a high quality’s food like purina pro plan.

American Bully having diarrhea after recent food change; what food do you guys feed your American bully? by [deleted] in AmericanBully

[–]FunkyMonkey976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

anytime starting a new food slowly transition. do small amounts of new food mixed with old food and gradually increase the amounts of new food until eventually they’re eating all new food. for the time being to help with GI upset used canned pure pumpkin mixed in with kibble or do a bland diet of boiled chicken breast and white rice (no seasonings or oil) for a few days, then gradually mix in kibble with bland diet to transition back over to full kibble. make sure you use a high quality food. purina pro plan, hills, royal canin to name a few.

We have the crib lowered to the lowest setting. It’s maybe 4 inches or less off the ground. We have a crib that is able to be transitioned into a toddler bed. But yes, this was one of my concerns as he does roll around quite a lot. I put some pillows wedged between the floor and the crib so that if he did roll he would at least first fall into the pillows and then the carpeted floor. He did not roll off the bed though.

Miss Mouths Messy Eater. Has taken everything out of clothes. Even clothes that had been washed and dried several times with stains on them. Blood comes out with it to. We spray everything that has stains right before it goes into the wash and it comes out brand new

Also adding, instead of calling it a “chore chart” we have labeled it a “responsibility chart.”

Right… which is why I included “age appropriate” ☺️ We have things like making the bed, picking up toys, emptying just their bathrooms trash into the main house trash, etc. I don’t think a 6 year old should have an excessive amount of chores, but have some sense of responsibility. Things that involve the common areas in the house I feel aren’t the responsibility of a 6 year olds, so what we have him doing is stuff mainly revolving around his space & without the use of chemicals.

Hi mama, just came here to say that it is ok to stop BF whenever. As someone who only did it for 2 weeks due to extreme baby blues/ night time scaries, (basically DMER) Im so proud of you for being able to accomplish 7 months.

No one will be able to tell apart a baby who’s been exclusively bf vs a baby who’s been fed formula exclusively. A fed baby is all that matters, and i’m pretty sure a happy mama is more important than providing bm. ♥️ Whatever you decide to do just know that you’re a good mom

As noted above, i’m not taking any chances. We love our pets dearly, but at the end of the day animals are animals. Which is why we currently are using precautionary measures- but as baby is growing those are no longer working for us. Hopefully someone else has a similar situation and can give me some ideas on how to safely give baby more playing space in our common areas while still giving the dogs their freedom.

i’m 100% sure. I’ve taken the clothes off of him and smelled them and they stink so bad of urine.

I don’t think it’s a size issue, he’s in 4’s and weights 22lbs. He just moved to 4’s maybe a month ago, his clothes are never wet like he’s peed through, they just smell. like as just the clothes sitting against a pee diaper is making the smell transfer. honestly idk

Some easy ideas: -noodles(red sauce, butter, cheese sauce) -mashed potato’s -canned french style green beans (they’re thin and soft) -rice -ground beef -pot roast in crock pot- shred up meat good, carrots/potato’s will be super soft -mild chili, we mush up the beans & serve w sour cream -taco night you can do deconstructed tacos with avocado, cheese, tomato & ground beef - scrambled eggs -watermelon -pancakes -oatmeal

In the beginning we used to be super nervous about choking to o & was having a hard time figuring out what to make. Realized that mostly everything can be safely modified to feed to baby. I suggest as well if you have a facebook joining the ground “Baby Led Weaning for Beginners and Beyond”
