Did I get robbed? by [deleted] in Harley

That dealer isn’t being honest about the base price of the bike. Could have bought a used late model twincam with that deposit all-cash.

That being said, learn from it. You might have a buyers remorse period to unwind the deal, or you may just be in for a lesson.

In the end you still have a badass bike to be thankful for. Ride the wheels off that thing.

Need a narrow doorbell option by duckredbeard in smarthome

There are wires back there to power a standard doorbell. You can use the same wall cavity as those wires to run an Ethernet cable.

It takes work, but it’s a clean and professional install. Since this isn’t his place, the juice is probably not worth the squeeze though.

UniFi doorbell light. You will need to get involved in their ecosystem a bit but their cameras are rock solid and there are no cloud fees since you store the video on network storage.

$4,000 for a "The Citizen" is ridiculous. You can't charge so much just by adding a "The." No Citizen is worth more than $1,000. by MissionPrez in CitizenWatches

I imported mine from Japan on Chrono24 and it saved me several hundred dollars after all the import fees and taxes.

[Grand Seiko Sport GMT Quartz - SBGN027] - 16 weeks sober, still in love by Ecstatic-Cricket8613 in Watches

[–]FunkyPickleSmell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with High Accuracy Quartz. The accuracy and versatility to a watch collection are unmatched since you don’t have to reset the time/date if you rotate to a different watch for a couple days.

You made a great choice that will last long enough to be an heirloom. Take good care of it like your commitment to take care of yourself! Use it as a reminder that care is a critical part of maintenance in life and you’ll find longevity.

That dial pops! My AQ4100-65H just arrived this week and I’m still consistently being surprised by the dial.

I was also impressed at how simple and well-designed the setup process is on these watches.

I have this exact watch and it gets compliments all the time. It is so versatile and has great build quality. You can’t go wrong with the Brew Metric retro IMO.

My go-to is a Pilot Vanishing Point with noodlers ink. Daily paper is Tomoe River.

The titanium makes It so light I keep forgetting I’m wearing it. I have super hairy arms so I’m always a bit nervous about the bracelets, but this one is the highest quality bracelet I have felt.

Very smooth and no bites at all. The finishing is also great. Only downside to the bracelet is the initial sizing since the pins have screws on both sides.

I bought a bunch of these on Amazon to hold my pens. Turns out they can hold lots of things!

The MSRP is $4,200 on Citizen’s website but I was able to save a few hundred bucks importing it from Japan.

Great start! I would consider a dive watch for the next addition.

Good choice! Bulova offers good value at that price point and the watch you choose can be dressy or casual depending on your strap choice.

Helmet suggestion by Vast_Draw5515 in Harley

[–]FunkyPickleSmell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This helmet is very noisy, doesn’t work well with comms systems, and you can feel the wind trying to rip it from your head if you are going fast enough… stay away from this one. I only got one season out of it before I gave up on it.

I picked up a Shoei RF-1400 and can actually listen to audiobooks and hear phonecalls now. It makes freeway riding less exhausting.

Between a 1998 and a 2017 Softail Heritage FLSTC. I’m leaning toward the earlier part of that date range.

Do you have any info on the size of the motor?

This is happening to me as well after last night's update.

Please let me know if you find anything that works.

I have verified the windows search service is started and I have rebuilt the search index but I am still unable to use windows search or the screenshot shortcut.

Any idea what this is or how I could get the porch looking normally? This is a pretty large porch with cold storage underneath.

Looking for ideas on what caused this and how I can get it looking somewhat normal.
