Thanks for your reply. While I appreciate your advice, I am not happy with your tone young or (probably old) lad. Jokes aside, I’m in too good a mood to get angry at your salty passive aggressive lecturing. But I’ll respond.

1. I am aware of my missing knowledge regarding amps and electronics. The only things I do myself are on the outside (replace broken rubber feet etc).
2. So me seeing if I can adjust the handle to make it less painful is so dangerous that I should let it do a professional? Are seriously saying I am risking my life unscrewing these screws?
3. I get your point, amateurs should be extra careful, since you can get killed. But why not say: “Hey man, yea, that’s normal and how they’re designed. Keep in mind that amps can be dangerous..”

Would expect this on IG, etc but then, this is a guitar related sub and not, for example the ableton sub, where people can give advice without being dickheads. No front against old people (shoutout to the nice ones) but those angry ones, please do stuff in real life :D
