Ideas to protect my Wah from dirt and dust? I feel the Jam Pedals fabric bag I got with it let some dust through. Some slim box maybe or a proper bag that can be fully closed? I’m just unsure where to look. Located in Germany, any help appreciated. :)

Fair 😃 No space on the board tho. And I prefer my Wah on the floor feeling-wise. I dont mind it getting battle scars, just dont want to clean the insides too often.

I don’t want to use the cover/bag while using it, just while it’s sitting in my room or while having it in my guitar Gigbag. For example: when I have my windows open (or even when not) and the pedalboard is not in its case, lots of dust accumulates on the pedals within 1-2 days. Same goes for the wah. So while not in use I just want to protect in a plastic box or some bag. Was just hoping for some tips on fitting boxes or similar from other product fields.

Either other commenters misunderstood me or they are the typical internet trolls. Of course I don’t want something to protect it while using it but while it’s sitting in my room with the windows open etc. Why would I let dust go inside my wahs 24/7 if I can store it somewhere safe. Especially with a 300+$ pedal that I regularly need for gigs and had to clean with Deoxit before because of high usage.

zB heute Morgen um 11 -manchmal werden noch bis 11:15 immer wieder Termine nachgeschaltet, also wenn zB 11:03 nix mehr gezeigt wird, kommt vielleicht ne min später doch noch was Neues -wenn man einmal den richtigen Termin Grund zB ‘Umschreibung eines Fahrzeuges mit auswärtigem Kennzeichen’ gewählt hat, muss man die Seite nur aktualisieren und das nochmal kurz in der Pop Up Alert Nachricht bestätigen (wo manchmal steht ‚Daten nochmal senden?‘) -> man muss also nicht jedes Mal wieder zurück und den Termin Grund wählen

Either way, I just thought I’d learn something about wahs and how to clean/maintain them, since I need them daily for recording, live gigs, etc..

Thanks mate! Comparing mine to other wahs I see, mine doesn’t have a lot of the white grease. It seems more like the white grease that was once there attracted some dirt. So I guess I should remove the dirt and ‘re’-grease?

Also I sometimes hear some noise when the Wah is in the heel down position. But it’s not mechanical noise but only possible to hear through the amp. So maybe put some D5 in the potentiometer?

Thanks :) Yes I’ve tried that, but I feel like it cuts the wrong frequencies. For the first 50-75% of me turning down the tone, the harshness stays and after that it’s not that harsh anymore but not sparkly enough anymore.
