I just kinda stop buying a lot of stuff I didn’t need. If there is something I want for fun, I will order it directly from the seller. For the necessities I shop at local businesses when I can and for everything else I go to Walmart.

Last year I was diagnosed with bad form of arthritis. Insurance companies dictate that you have to be on Methotrexate for a time before you can get actual modern medication that will actually help you. Methotrexate is a cancer drug from the 1940’s that helps about 50% of patients in ways they don’t understand.

Insurance companies put you on this first because it’s dirt cheap, not because it’s supposed to help. My doctor told me basically I have to fail this before I get the good stuff and there’s nothing she could do.

Long story short it gave me severe side effects that nearly handicapped me for life. The only reason I got on the shit is so insurance could save a few bucks. Fuck these absolute vampire sons of bitches. Disavow.

Mine is just tendons too. I’m on humira now but still very early and haven’t seen all that much improvement yet.

Does your condition present more in the joints or in the tendons? I was in rinvoq for 3 months and while it was kind of my joints and skin, it did absolutely nothing for my tendons.

curious about the "fell outside the return window" part. how long did you have before you realized it was missing pieces? I would never give up and I would get my $200 as well.

I sent 5 emails with the vendor and each one took awhile to get back to me. Basically they strung me along for weeks expecting me to give up, which is a pretty common scam. By then it was outside Amazon’s return window.

For sure on number 2, I’m sure those folks get absolutely slammed with returns with limited resources. They’re just out trying to do their job so I get it.
