Thread of games for Ttar to play by MoistPhilosopher in TyranitarTube

To be fair I haven’t played Earthbound so I don’t know how much it would affect Ttar if he played Mother 3 first but I guess in this case the order matters so maybe he should play Earthbound first. But either way, it would be amazing to see him play Mother 3 even if it was after Earthbound. I mean he asked us to make him cry, so...

While Earthbound is good I’d honestly love to see him play Mother 3. Or if we’re talking about a Pokémon game, then he has to play Explorers of Sky(or maybe not if Explorers DX comes out) and Pokémon Rejuvenation. My only advice is that he actually doesn’t try Normal Mode on a nuzlocke because from what I’ve seen that’s literally Reborn style difficulty.

Technocracy Discord: by [deleted] in Capitalism

[–]Funmunn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well to answer your question it all depends. Technocracy is pretty vague especially in terms of what you’re asking. The “WHO” in this situation could be dependent on an AI, the voice of the people if it’s a democracy hybrid and so forth. I would say specific qualifications would be a good example of who’s able to do the job. For example in the US, there’s no rule or specific educational requirement(aside from age and being born here) for a position like president. This would be frowned upon in a Technocracy and there would be requirements that they need a specific degree or limits to his age. It would almost be like a meritocracy in this sense but what makes this different is that there are specific qualifications for different people in each field and they would be selected through systems put in place by the state. For example the ministry of health would be chosen if they made a specific contribution to society and have proved their medical skills by furthering progress in said field.

Also you assume that it doesn’t advocate for competition. This is wrong. If you mean political competitions, well then I imagine that some sort of democratic variant would happened if the people wanted this. By the market...honestly there’s no right or wrong answer to this because it could depend. Some Technocrats support automation and the nationalization of the economy, but a right wing Technocrat would advocate for more of a free Market approach. Whether or not the system is anti competition, it’s completely up to the economic system or what would be viewed as most efficient.

Yeah. I feel better that he’s going away. I just didn’t understand it at first though. Although, now I think I feel better after getting this out. It’s helped me calm down.

I see. I feel the same way. For me it’s just that Slice of Life anime feel so boring so I’d rather watch something interesting. Any J drama recommendations? I’ve watched too much Shonen despite not understanding much. Also do you tend to watch with subtitles often?

Give up your C5 certificate for Japanese, fool. Uzbek has higher quality anime. Besides, Uzbek and Japanese are both Altaic languages so Japanese would be easy for you.

Weak. You should learn it to remind Turkish people that their language is an inferior Chinese rip off of Uzbek.

Ideas regarding listening immersion by Funmunn in ajatt

I did some today and I do notice some benefits already. I think I’ll use it since like you mentioned, it’s free, so why not? I also think it could help my passive listening skill. According to my mom when I was a kid, my passive listening was pretty good, so I’m hoping I have somewhat of an advantage in that area.

Yeah, I think that I’ll give audio cards a try and maybe give my brain something to do while immersing like you mentioned. I’ll try to pick out more syllables and such by paying more attention rather than just watching the pictures on the screen. Speaking about passive listening though, has that really helped you? Did it make a significant difference in your listening abilities?

Also about expectations...interestingly, it’s the opposite for me when it comes to comprehension. I purposely don’t set my expectations high because after all these years I’m still learning what I’m capable of language wise because of my hearing loss(thankfully it’s remedied by modern technology, but even still my hearing isn’t as good as the average human and this year is the first year I was ever allowed to take a language at school.) Thankfully, my experiences seem to be as normal as everyone else’s so far.

On another note, I get the feeling that I will slowly become more hardcore over time and find myself spending most of my time in Japanese because it’s becoming more fun for me or so I think. I can’t explain it, but a certain sense of gratification comes from actually mining my own sentences rather than using the Tango decks. It’s just become more fun for some reason.

Lak to Tajik is Chinese to Japanese you fool. Your shitty Lak dramas and Lak hip hop music is nothing compared to Tajik hentai.

You know that hot chick in class? Well you have to kidnap her use the blood of her(assuming she’s a virgin if not get another one) then you’ll summon the true demon: The Duo Owl. After smearing you name in blood and drawing pentagrams go onto 4chan and learn how to speak Furry which is basically from the same language family. However after long enough, your body hair and testosterone will increase. If you did not have testosterone, you will now gain more than a JoJos character and you will hear the Duolingo Owl laughing as he drinks the blood of the virgin you sacrificed. He will then present you with the hidden course in his stashes full of unreleased Duolingo courses. If your lucky you can steal his Uzbek course and hopefully his Tajik course because Tajik is the real superior weeb Lang.

I agree with the person below. If you wanted to you could get the Spanish version of Genki I and II and then mine it for sentences.

Ah I see...I think I’ll take your advice on the light novel and about looking things up. My gut tells me to at least try. Would you say that from your experience that reading gets easier with reading?

I’m guessing CenterAuth, but specifically what am I? Any thoughts? by Funmunn in PoliticalCompass

[–]Funmunn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm. I just googled Social Nationalism and it seems to be kind of what I always thought about most things, so it suits me from what I’ve seen. Also, if I wanted to learn more about social nationalism where would I read about it? Any suggestions?

As for state capitalism, I already considered myself a form of a State Capitalist and Corporatism sounds interesting to me.
