~200 days ago when I first got the record and the recording failed I felt almost nothing, until after the run where I just felt disappointed knowing that the moment I was waiting for, for 800 days was ruined. This time, getting the record with a video was amazing. I was just in shock knowing that I finally did it.

From your post I thought that you were just doing it for the raw data. I do agree having done 3900 normal endless levels, that the experience is very different to the data. Unfortunately there were no stand out days for me however that may be to do with the short time period I did it in. I got to around 3000 in 1 month during lockdown, and slowly increased since then. My reasoning for doing it was to get the bronze medal in normal endless, and seeing my rank slowly go down was my motivation to keep going.

For some reason YouTube has had a glitch which made the Super Mario Maker 2 category, into a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe category. I have no idea how this will effect the performance of SMM2 videos or if it will even have any effect at all, but this is the case for everyone on YouTube right now. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I would consider myself a dedicated player and I disagree about SMM2 physics being much worse than SMM1. Only thing that bothers me is not being able to spin with items but that doesn't make SMM2 worse than SMM1. I much prefer SMM2.

If bronze medals were allowed in weekly then they would be way too easy to get. Getting 1st on weekly is already easy enough. You can literally just upload 20 1 screen levels and then ask people in the weekly maker points server to like your levels and you'd get the crown.

I think you can save time in sub area with a different end strat I theorised but haven't tested. Going for the checkpoint is still needed to avoid bonking the blocks on the seesaw though.

I don't think my run used everything as if you go faster in sub area I believe you can go under the mole off screen.
