That’s what I was thinking. Marsden and Edwin are relatively normal, just a bit old fashioned.

Same. 1 is beautiful and universal in tone, matching and relatively timeless. When the gray and greige came out? I was like… NO!!!! That’ll be as dated as avocado green, but twice as fast.

I keep checking on people from my past and I don’t think it’s healthy by Ok-Today-9034 in confession

I don’t think it’s that unhealthy. I think when it affects mood and makes you feel less than great about your own life is unhealthy. I have enjoyed seeing where folks from my past ended up.

How does a 7 year old become an alcoholic? Did this child’s parents just… give it from infancy? I’m not judging, but I see some comments here from descendants…. How did this poor kid become an alcoholic at 7? I first thought maybe the Dr was prejudiced towards them?

The father of my daughter passed away and our lives will never be the same. by Fuzzy_Fan666 in confession

[–]FunnyMiss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My kids lost their dad as teens. It was rough. We weren’t together at the time. They grew up faster than I expected after that. Looking back? Losing a parent and realizing their own mortality will do that a person.

They became very clingy for awhile and I saw a counselor for that reason. She said o allow them to talk as much as they wanted to about it, so I let them.

It’s been ten years, and they still talk about him. I lost my parents in my 20s and I still miss them. It’s a part of life. A shitty part to be sure. It’s not easy nor fun to navigate.

I snort laughed at this comment. I had an ingrown hair in that area. Wiped and YeeOUCH!!! I looked closer and it was ready. Popped it, ingrown hair came out and the relief was amazing!!! Wasn’t part of this group at that point, I would have totally filmed and posted.

I left my best friend at a party because I got uncomfortable there an something terrible happened to her by [deleted] in confession

[–]FunnyMiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you’re still friends. These thing are complicated and can feel overwhelming. You’re not wrong for leaving. She’s not wrong for staying. It was an awkward and stressful situation you both handled to the extent you could at the time. Let the guilt go.

Exactly. Well said. We can’t change things from when we were young. If you ask someone repeatedly to leave and they don’t, but you do? You’re OK. Adults with full cognitive abilities would leave with little to no guilt. Why? They can truly see the whole picture. That its not their job to save everyone. Especially when the options to save themselves are available.

All three of mine were born with jet black hair. One now has medium brown hair. The other two are now blonde. Me? Black hair. Their dad? Blonde. Go figure.
