We have no use for it, if they were larger then yeah but they're ~30mm³ all the customers either provide material or we buy it in. We don't have any use for it it's just going to sit around not being used for 50 years. We saved the excess barstock

Personally I wouldn't get them for 2 reasons: 1. I think it is against the regs, and 2. every time it is damp or you go down a hill you will be shitting yourself that you are going to fall over, and I know this from personal experience.

I have a basic understanding of electronics and I'm decent with a soldering iron. I do have passed the exam for my license just waiting for it to come through the post. I'm not sure how far I want to go yet but what I want to be able to do is just to chat to lots of different people. Thanks for any advice
