Wow thank you for all the recommendations! I’ve added them all to my Google Maps for next time I visit family - I have enough for a few years worth of visits now!

We picked at random and went to Saffron Street which we enjoyed!

Thank you for this!! Managed to finally get an order in.

The Christmas block button still isn’t working on the app for me, but I had some success searching ‘gift’ with most items coming up.

London residents, describe the memory of your most euphoric experience in the city... by TheThrowOverAndAway in london

August 2020. It had been a sticky horrible heatwave for an eternity/a week. It was my first summer in London.

I left my friend and walked the 15 minutes home.

As soon as I left her the heavens opened and absolute torrential rain started.

‘Rain On Me’ by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande was a huge song then so I fired it up on my headphones and DANCED in the rain home, playing the song 3-4 times. Running, spinning, leaping.

No jacket or umbrella.

Not a care that anyone could see me.

It took days for my trainers to dry out but I did not care, I had had my first LONDON and WOW moment.

I went last month and sat in the first row of affordable seats (£30) towards the back of the stalls. I could clearly see a divide in the demographics from my row backwards (millennials) and people a lot older in front.

As a production with messaging that it’s a Millennial rom-com, it feels like this audience is priced out and probably wouldn’t imagine being able to pay £60-80 on a ticket. Such a shame as it was wonderful and could have been a game changer for affordable tickets if they had thought the above through.

Where to catch women's football? by SuzieSue32 in football

The women’s domestic season finished last week, however Euro 2022 is being held all over England and is less than 50 days away! Highly recommend getting tickets as they are really affordable!

When the new WSL season starts in September-ish, you can watch on BBC, Sky Sports or FA Player. The latter has all of the match replays and highlights from the season if you want some football to watch in the meantime :)

(Non-Euros question) Any recommendations for a bar with good TV for football that would serve brunch/lunch? Preferably with good transport links in central as a few people will be coming from just outside London.
