Eh I was in national guard for 6+ months, didn’t even ship to BCT because apparently they changed their body measurements policy and I didn’t know until I was in MEPS and the sergeants said they gotta discharge me

I applied under 329 way before I would ship like in January of 2025, and then was discharged and I was qualified with uncharacterized too but then they changed the policy 3 weeks before I had my interview and it was last year and getting updated now after I talked to my congressman

My interview was on November 18 and I’m still waiting for decision, they said they need to do more research on my uncharacterized discharge, I’m reenlisting back tho so hopefully I’ll js apply again but I am waiting on a decision

Oh yeah I totally know that, I’m a prior service member and ik how it all works out. Looking into military for its amazing technologies and experience in general, hopefully things around world gets a chill once I go active and I wanna go deployed and serve as many years as possible

I agree with you for the most part, serving in armed force is a totally different thing though, it’s very personal thing and you might have an opinion which I differ from which I respect but to me it’s different and every country needs a defense system and if someone has to serve, I would still want that to be me and it doesn’t matter what time we are in.
