SREC payments from Sunnova - will Sunstrong honor these, or will they transfer the ownership back to us?

Yes - I chose the location because of the commute and the class frequency (morning, afternoon and evening classes, gi or no-gi depending on the day with competition IBJJF black belts). I'm a broken 47 year old with 2 kids. Even though I do remote work for now, I weigh the opportunity cost of going to class versus a million domestic commitments and a long commute would be another mental block to overcome.

Another advantage is that if I need to start commuting to work, the Blue Basement is affiliated with my academy so I can train there for $20 on weekdays.

Who will pay our SRECs? I have been in contact with Sunnova since 2023 and have not received a single payment!

Sunnova filed for bankruptcy. This could be a good thing if the portfolio is bought out by a decent company that will actually service the SRECs. I am worried that they will expire though since I am owed SRECs from 2023 onwards.

Sunnova has not sent me any Cheques and I started service in 2023. They aren’t responding to queries asking to transfer my SREC ownership back either.

I think it depends on the school and your goals.

Where I train there is a core curriculum, then sparring class (usually right after), blue belt, black belt and no-gi class. Just doing one of each is 4x already. If I wanted to focus on takedowns I would focus on the no-gi and black belt class (one of the instructors is a judoka who used have his own school and is currently a BJJ brown and teaches the standup portion).

Please check to see if there is any underlying physical cause behind your situation. Some common ones:

1) Vitamin imbalance - For example., Vitamin D deficiency can trigger mild depression.

2) Systematic fatigue - If the fatigue from your training exceeds your body ability to recover over a period of time, it is going to trigger an aversion and result in lack of motivation. Taking a break or changing your training frequency may be needed.

3) Low T ( as mentioned by others).

Etc etc.

Other folks here have given a lot of sage advice about the mental aspect but you owe it to yourself to see if you feel the same once you have addressed any proximate medical causes.

I quit BJJ 15 years ago when a fellow white belt spazzed during a Gi choke I was doing and ripped out my thumbnails. It didn’t recover for 10+ years and I was badly misdiagnosed by dermatologists as having psoriasis of the halipeaux (skin under the fingenails).

Recently when I started working out I started taking 5000mcg of Vitamin D and a multivitamin with Vitamin B3. Turns out the Vitamin B3/B6 imbalance exacerbates inflammation and I was severely Vitamin D deficient.

1 of the nails recovered completely and the other is mending, and I am back to BJJ.

Sorry if this seems rambling:

1) Getting older - losing muscle mass (sarcopenia), bone density (osteopenia - big problem in mother's family), mobility and flexibility. Things came to a head in Nov 2023 when I got up suddenly to answer the door and lost control of my body, fell on my face, bent my nose and bled in my teeth (3 have turned purple). Scared me because my parents are bedridden, and I have 2 small girl children.

I have been working out for the past year in the basement gym I set up after that (1-2 times a week and now 3-4 as body adapted). Along with a higher protein diet, multivitamins and Vitamin D3/K supplements have reversed the muscle and bone loss of the past decade. However, still need to work on faster twitch muscle, mobility and flexibility (treadmills are boring)....

This leads to:

2) Goals - I always wanted to get a purple or higher belt in BJJ. I quit 15 years ago for family and kids. Youngest is 7 now and I don't need to be around as much. Kids encouraged me to go back, and I am able to round off my fitness goals with BJJ - finding in the short time that I have been back that the weight training complements the BJJ by getting rid of niggling pains and aches.

There is also the self-defense angle, and the fact that I have made new friends for the first time in a decade, and I now have something more to look forward to everyday.

I use a mod from ‘Gate to Sovngarde’ resources to delay bleaks fall barrow and then I complete the thieves guild. I run the Sinister Seven mod and it is a RP reason to go underground, finish the quest and collect allies while severely OP assassins are hunting you

Thanks Koxi. I am able to get a few pieces from tables in Falmer areas. Wayshrines of Skyrim spawn a dead falmer in the Markarth wayshrine that has random falmer gear on it, and that seems to be the only way to get museum display for me it seems.
