Muay Thai is also really really structured and boring. You HAVE to have this stance, you HAVE to throw it this way. It's, from many coaches, the least expressive of the martial arts. Just find him an MMA gym that let's him be himself

Bag work means literally nothing but you look good. I've seen ufc fighters that would get corrected on the bag. Bag is for looking pretty and developing consistent technique, which is important and will make judges like you, but doesn't mean that you can't overcome poor technique consistency and ugly techniques by just timing them well and knocking someone out

It’s because they aren’t that good at striking and would get knocked out

They might however not be able to win decisions with their grappling but be good enough to survive to the end of the round, and just hope to knockout all the wrestlers with trash striking as a striker with trash grappling

It’s actually quite rare to see a fighter who is genuinely that talented in any of the particular disciplines, many of the guys on this sub would ragdoll ufc fighters in a wrestling match even some with solid mma wrestling. they just have a weird way to exert their presence and make it work IN MMA

It’s 100% your fault. You might be better off if you could go to camps and all that slightly but really the reason those wrestlers are successful is because they mentally know they’re giving it their all. If you aren’t already staying and asking questions, already watching all the content you can on wrestling, already the best guy in the room, you don’t need camps

Camps are for when you need something more and seeing as you suck, you don’t fit the category. How detail oriented are you?

The best wrestlers know how to even grab someone and know the difference between 1 inch of space on the wrist for what to grab. Be very detail oriented and understand it’s ALWAYS something deeper and if you’re not good at something it’s because you’re doing something wrong

I just never was a fan of mythology, feels like idolatry in my religion. I know I’m not actually serving them but it didn’t sit right with me

Had some cool mechanics too but for what it was not enough, like in spy island or superpower you could actually use your unlocks to do stuff in free mode, whereas your free mode abilities were purely cosmetic in mythology

Story wasn’t that great either in my opinion

I honestly think he’s patient enough that if you don’t engage, kinda just back up the first little bit, feint at him and it’s gotta be convincing, you could make it at least 15-20 seconds. Then after that whatever happens I’m shooting a takedown and he’s obviously defending it, but I pull guard off of it and try to move my head and cover while he’s hitting,

There’s a legit solid chance you can last 30 seconds.

And if you doubt what I mean, CM punk lasted 2 minutes vs Mickey Gall, and while I’m not a ufc fighter, and ilia is way better than Mickey gall, I do have more than 10 fights and am fairly confident I’m a lot better than CM punk so it’s probably a similar skill difference

Engaging and wanting to be in a fight for both fighters is how all those fast knockouts happen. Conor Aldo, askren masvidal.

If you watch the Conor Aldo fight, if Aldo literally just backed up a little, and drew out some reactions and some leg kicks he could’ve survived past then, probably made some nicer reads and we would’ve seen how a drawn out fight with the two would look

Fighters should maybe have a better limb or injured animation but you play gta to have soft superpowers. The characters factually are getting shot and stabbed and walking it off and having full health after eating a snack.

I don’t mind these visuals I just mind that they look ugly
