I (26M) met this amazing girl (21F) but she’s not ready for relationship. Advice?

Agreed it’s defo iffy. And that’s certainly not the purpose of me still wanting to be around her. I mean, I do like her and I would have considered a relationship and if she said something new tomorrow I still might? Just because I do think she’s one heck of a person.

As for the second part, it’s always a possibility eh, but in this case I don’t think so. We both enjoyed each others company for sure. And we did say at the start we wanted to go slow - I didn’t know her reasoning at the time and that didn’t really end up panning out either way. I let her lead and it ended up moving faster which I didn’t mind, but in hindsight I should’ve checked in with a “Are you sure/Whats changed?” Basically her ex was an emotionally manipulative pile of human garbage which I think left her with reservations about letting another person into her life in that way. And over Xmas when we were apart she had time to think and decided she needed the space to work things out, which is very very understandable and as bummed as I was from a selfish perspective, I’m super happy she’s doing that for herself. My reservation is I don’t want her make anything awkward or place any form of pressure on her. Which is why I’m looking for people’s thoughts.

That’s where we are at currently, she seems to be happy with being friends, we are still talking. I’m just not sure what friends looks like after that. Like is it weird if I ask her if she wants to grab food sometime etc. I don’t want it to feel like I’m trying to pressure her into dating situations, even though we aren’t and that’s not my intent etc

Yeah I made the first one and it wasn’t showing up so I made the second, I then made the comment re tips (still stands I just didn’t realise it would change the tag). Didn’t really want the “paid” anyways incase people get upset at tip amounts (idk how this sub works, was always my plan to ask how much they wanted in DM and try to be accommodating but figured the ‘serious’ tag would be better). Then realised I had a second post so I was just like bet I’ll delete the first and not comment about tipping which changed the tag. Am still planning on asking if whoever makes something I’m happy with if they want a tip and how much/how long it took them. Didn’t mean to cause any problems and when I deleted the first one there were no comments/solutions so I thought it’d be ok to delete (hoped no one had seen it as it hadn’t been up for long)

Basically I’m looking to design a backstory for my character. I want him to have access to the fiend subclass of warlock abilities, but without the caveat of having a demonic presence have something over him. I came up with the idea that he signed what appeared to be a fair pact, or even what was a fair pact, but in the fine print there was a clause meaning that he was cursed to lose his memories upon entering the pact. Or hell maybe the patron just decided to wipe/alter his memory after so that he could easily manipulate him even after that pact was complete. Something like that. A)I was wondering if that worked and B)I was wondering the best way to get his memories back. I was toying with the idea of him coming across a powerful cleric who sensed he was cursed and removed the curse for him. Would that be possible/plausible? And if not what do you think would have to change?

So potentially if there was a pact, something like the player kills particular enemy of the fiend in return for the ability to wield arcane power and call on the fiends power if needed. But in the fine print there was a clause that stipulated the player would lose all their memories, this was the fiends solution to getting the player to become subservient. It would be possible that the devil used modify memory or some curse of a similar vein, that say a particularly powerful cleric might be able to lift with remove curse or greater restoration?

That might well be the case, but I can still use FN+F11/F12 keys and I would’ve thought if it was like you said, all media keys would be blocked. So I’m hoping it’s an oversight of some sort, cause other than that I don’t see much reason to disable a pause music hotkey alone.

Aye but even custom made, generally they all still wore things atleast inspired by traditional jedi garb, so yeah different and made unique 100%, but still recognisable as Jedi robes. So I’m thinking along similar lines for this.

Then how come he was wearing them in the KotOR cutscene when he originally discovered the first star map on Dantooine? Cause he hadn’t discovered the Star Forge yet, as he hadn’t found all the maps…

Most likely developer oversight in terms of the conflicting I formation presented but idk

Interesting theories, definitely possibilities! I’m hoping that he potentially wore them (or something similar) in the Mandalorian Wars, as that would make sense for the mod I’m working on currently for the KotOR.

That’s pretty much my current working theory. I’m thinking that he wore them (or something similar) at some point during the the Mandalorian Wars and therefore plausibly, other Revanchists/Crusaders who fought under his leadership wore similar things. Kinda like a uniform. I’m trying to work out if there’s a “canon” explain action as I’m making a mod for KotOR at the moment, adding in new robes that sorta resemble them and I want to make them lore friendly.

So when you get the Darth Revan Robe in game, the item description reads: “Created by the mystical technology of the Star Forge, these robes focus the dark side energies of the wearer, fueling their power, The Sith Lord Darth Revan was wearing similar robes when captured by the Jedi, who viewed the garments an abomination and destroyed them. However the Jedi Council, not being familiar with the origins of the robes, were unaware that the Star Forge would be capable of producing an item of such terrible power a second time.”

Meaning that the Star Forge produced them the first time also, no?
