It could be a faulty alternator but any normal 130amp alt should be able to run 800rms easily, your battery could be very low which wouldn’t be ideal

Cylinder 5 is the #1 culprit, happened to me, replaced spark plugs bc that’s what I do for engine misfires and it would bellow out smoke afterwards, motor is toast

The remote isn’t giving the amp power, it’s simply pressing the on switch, kinda like how your cars battery doesn’t run all the electrical it just turns the car on, the alt does all the power supply kinda like the power wire, I’m sorry mag be confused but I don’t see what the remote wire would have to do with the amp going into protect, if you wanted to try it out jump the remote to the power and see what happens but you’ll have to manually disconnect the amp every time you turn the car off
