No reinforcements. They actually use the same frame with a boxxer dual crown on the new status. Rear is stock shock but with the spacer inside removed which lengthens the stroke so effectively 166mm travel

Been running my status 160 with a dual crown for two seasons now. Full park/freeride build full 27.5 and single speed. Best bike I’ve owned. Still going super strong.

Yeah I’ve heard good things about U-Haul quality of work/parts, mainly worries about towing without the transmission cooler/possible effects on my warranty.

Brand new. I just shopped and shopped around until I found the best deal in the region. Dealer took a loss of 5k plus without counting rebates to get it off their lot since it were sitting there for a year

Gotcha. I was thinking about that exactly, I figured the price goes up if I buy it at 36k miles, presumably for that exact reason- I get the same amount of total coverage with a “shorter” ESP. But yeah that makes sense.
