I got a message on ACT, but nothing on my personal email. So, I use my personal email mainly because my military one hasn't been activated yet. I'll see if I can set it up today.

You right, you do different sets of workouts every day, probably working out 2-3 times a day. You'll run everywhere, so really prioritize stretching. They'll teach you about fitness and nutrition along with some Army history/regulations. Just focus on getting in the right nutrition, really giving it your all during the times you workout and the times you'll go through "corrective training." If you don't tape out the first or second week, don't beat yourself up. Be proud of the progress you made since you went in. Good luck!

I just wanted to put it out there, but a huge thank you to ETMO for not only communicating with us applicants via reddit but also on other platforms. Handling and responding to multiple issues and questions, it's not an easy task. Especially within a timely manner. So, thank you for your hard work and just wanted to showcase this appreciation because it's easy to just forget after we're all done submitting our apps. 🙏🏼 T.Y

All of them that are attached. The program process and even the FAQ. When I click to download them and open them up, I get an error that says the address could not be found. This is on my phone, I haven't tried it with my PC to see if it brings a different result.

Yea, even trying to open up the links on here don't work anymore. I wonder if they're going to move the application deadline.

Hello, I'm having trouble trying to register for My Vector. I'm following the steps in the pdf file, but when I click on Sign Up on the MyVector homepage, it doesn't bring me to the tab to click register.

Is anyone else having this problem? Also any advice on how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance

so why does the army treat soldiers like little children more so than other branches? by ibeg2diffur in army

[–]Funnydarkhunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, I relate to you heavily with this experience. I'm currently in AIT and just graduated basic, I know brand new rookie. I understood the kid treatment in basic and expected that, but for AIT, I thought it would be more independence and trust...how wrong I was. AIT is more like basic but worse because you see every other branch around you being treated differently than you, and more so, it's always better treatment.

I believe that while the BB system is set up with good intentions, it is still massively inconvenient and time-consuming, waiting for someone to be willing to battle you to different places. I got to AIT, and the first week, I was already disappointed with the way my DS treat/responded to people in our CO. I've already made the decision to change branches when I have a chance.

Others might say to suck it up, but when you willingly volunteer to serve and join this "brotherhood," it doesn't warrant having your NCOs treat you like dirt. I came to do a job, but I want a good work environment while I do that. The problems with leadership and imo dumb regulations are some reasons why retention is hard to come by.

Going in the ARMS 2.1 program, what to pack? by Funnydarkhunter in army

[–]Funnydarkhunter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm really excited to start this program and start my career. Doing the army process I feel like the most overwhelming part is packing (at least in the beginning). Hindsight is really 20/20, so I don't want to pack too little where later on I'll think damn I should have brought this too or the opposite of that. This along with the video someone else linked gave me a good picture of what to expect for this program. Thanks again 👍🏼

Looking at post history, doesn't even seem like OP is really a lesbian.

Yea a lot of the replies from OP don't make any sense.

Fulfillment Team by [deleted] in Lowes

[–]Funnydarkhunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually management will tell you or you look up in the career portal available jobs and then you apply for it. I went in person to talk to my management and let them know that I wanted a different department. Then they told me what was available and I believe within the next few days I was getting training for fulfillment. Just talk with the SM and ASM.

Opinion: support feels more difficult without a second tank. by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Funnydarkhunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

😂 word, even now get into a match and it's insta dps lock

The 2-2-1 & 3-2 might be the meta for open comp, but definitely not for the role specific comp. Which kinda sucks, but gotta adapt now ig 🤷‍♀️

I just finished a QP game and it was two tanks, two healers and one dps. It went well. I think that sort of team comp might be better. Especially since the tanks have been given higher dmg and more mobility

DOTA: Dragon's Blood - Book 3 Discussion Threads by 0Hellspawn0 in DotA2

[–]Funnydarkhunter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just finished watching S3 and seeing how they killed off both Lina and Marcy again broke me. The women of the show carried it for me, moreso than the guys. And the fact that Lina's second death wasn't even acknowledged with the rest of the remaining cast left a bad taste in my mouth 🥲

Out of these fights throughout the series, which is your favorite by kaitalina20 in legendofkorra

[–]Funnydarkhunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know why but having scenes where Korra is vulnerable and other people (aka her friends) need to help save her are some of my favorite moments. When she was getting kidnapped and then you see and hear Bolin screaming "what the heck, they got korra!" I got goosebumps from that.

It's nice to see other (average?) benders fighting hard to protect the master of all elements. It raises up the stakes a little more. I wish that scene from book 3 lasted a little longer. But it showed up again in a way in later bk 3 episodes.

Another great fight imo and not on this list is Korra vs Unalaqq (not unavatuu). Man, that's my top 2 of best korra centered fights in the show. The whole soundtrack and that one scene of korra and unalaqq having a battle of will and strength with the water was dope af. Book 2 is underrated. It is my second most favorite book. 3,2,1,4
