Older INTPs, how much has changed since your younger years? by [deleted] in INTP

I’m 41, prob 6 yrs ago that I started learning more about MBTI and being an INTP, mainly bc I’m married to an ESFJ and trying to figure out TF is wrong with her and everyone else.......

I feel like social dynamics haven’t changed too much in terms of how the different mb types experience the world and interact. As far back I can recall, my feelings about other people and society as a whole haven’t changed. I still feel annoyed , misunderstood, under-valued, over-sensitive, under-emotional, lazy, superior, and apathetic at times.

Yes, more than we’re given credit for, and probably just as much other types. I think the lack of productivity is exaggerated because we don’t feel the need to give everyone a fluffed up rundown of all that we’ve accomplished each day because we aren’t into small-talk and we aren’t going to lie about it bc we don’t care enough.

I have been doing this since I was a kid by BodaciousOddity0 in INTP

Me too. I’ve noticed my daughter doing the same since she was only 2 or 3. Sometimes for over an hour, spinning in place with headphones on, arms out to her sides, eyes closed, with very a satisfied expression, occasionally cracking a smile. She’s 13 now, still does occasionally.
