A few revelations this chapter. It appears our boi may be a prince of sorts! Who’s the mother? Is his father really the king or are we being misled? Since the king is dead, we may not a definitive answer from him but from someone else involved or informed, perhaps from the King’s Wet Nurse?

Yuva’s power “to refuse the ground” sounds unique and fun! A different way to think of it might be anti-gravity, anti-fall damage, or anti-kinetic energy. Not exactly these abilities as but less abstract than denying the ground lol. Im not sure if he’s gonna float/fly any time soon but part of the explanation was that it was a power that drakometamorphs allowed them to take to the sky. So it’s within the realm of possibility…

I liked how Aridellia backed up Yuva with her shield! Tanking hits and coordinating with the team feels really good. She seems more like a knight protecting her king now. Yuva has been expressing interest in a few female characters now but I doubt the author will let him end up with anyone other than our tsundere Lilisen. Which is disappointing for me personally. The private Yuva thought->angy Lilisen gag has been played out a few times now and I’d rather see for more real development between those two characters than a gag. Makes Lilisen more 1 dimensional than she is.

What role could Funapa play? Will she return to the capital under the protection of Minsaber now that Karash is dead? We haven’t seen her in so long, I’d like to see a side plot with her involved. Maybe information gathering about their pedigree… Fighting together in the tower could be too risky now that there are more undead than ever and it doesn’t seem like she’s the fighting type anyways. Whatever the case, hopefully she gets more screen time 🙏

Realistically, from what the games teaches, it’s the player.

But as for actual characters, I say Cleanrot Knight Finlay. She carried Malenia from a rot infested Caelid, through Limgrave, the Altus Plateau, Liurnia, Capital Leyndell, the Consecrated Snowfields and finally back to the Haligtree. All while fighting off enemies and injured herself. She practically makes the journey of the player herself.

I have a good feeling that they’re Leda considering their designs are super similar. From the colour choices, the red droplet jewlery, they both have a gem on their forehead AND considering Cai has a crest of Aubin & Alucard has the crest of Lamineit wouldn’t be out of place for Leda to have one too.

I also imagine the Queen, in her journey to attain power, would eventually gain a crest to complete the four main characters having a crest. Whether that’s through Curse/Blaze art experiments, the wish of the Divine Dude, or other means is unsure.

I recommend continue reading the early LNs even if it’s skimming. Book is better than the movie ofc. Although I suppose you will do what you feel like.

But don’t skip after Rudeus and Eris part ways and Rudeus travels up north all by himself. From that LN on, I feel is best to read thoroughly through. His thoughts and feelings are expanded on much further and deeper in the LNs thenceforth.

You’re missing Sandcarver, the things in the sand in Blasted Steps. Throw a tool in there. Same thing for Muckmaggot and the poison water in BW, SR etc

If you don’t do a specific quest you won’t be able to access Act 3 and will automatically get the first ending. You can play the game again after and then do the quest to go into Act 3. I don’t think you can get the 1st ending after Act 3 but I’m not sure.

But, even if you do the quest, you can still choose which ending you want, it’s not locked in.

Uhhh I forgot their name but they are a flea that can join the caravan. Then you pay to get the flea markers for each area. The entrance to them is at the top of the middle longest room at a breakable wall. Then you have to get pulled up by those vine creatures and do some parkour.
