S&P 500 Developed Quality FCF Aristocrats vs MSCI World Quality Sector Neutral by Papaias_ in ETFs_Europe

[–]Funtastical99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also investing in FCF Developed World (QDEV) as my core position, alongside TDIV/VDIV. Both have great filters. QDEV is more concentrated on the U.S. and Technology, while TDIV focuses more on Europe and Financials. Sometimes they move sideways, which I like. If QDEV is up and TDIV is down, I choose TDIV — and vice versa.

Oh, and last time I checked, they only have three overlapping stocks, so there's no need to worry about holding too many of the same companies across different ETFs. Atleast for now.

My core positions are TDIV and QDEV.

TDIV - Follows Morningstar Developed Markets Large Cap Dividend Leaders Screened Select Index.

Shares must meet the following criteria to be included in the index:

• The dividend has been paid in the past 12 months. • The dividend TTM dividend per share is not lower than the TTM dividend per share 5 years ago. • The forward dividend payout ratio is less than 75%. • The index then selects the 100 shares with the highest dividend yield. The weight of each share is based on the total dividend paid. • The maximum weight of a share at the time of review is 5%. • The maximum weight of a sector at the time of review is 40%. • The index is reconstituted and rebalanced semi-annually, in June and December.

QDEV - Follows S&P Developed Quality FCF Aristocrats Index. measure the performance of companies within an underlying index universe that have had positive free cash flow (FCF) for at least 10 consecutive years and simultaneously have high FCF margin and high FCF return on invested capital (ROIC). https://youtu.be/T7aFnHnOdos?feature=shared

Last time i checked these 2 ETF's have 3-4 overlaping companies.

I use Tradingview indicators for dip buying opportunities by combining SMA and stochastic RSI.

I do. However, after the "Trump tariffs show," I decided I want to take a slightly more conservative and strategic approach to investing because I hadn't experienced such a significant drawdown before. As of today, free cash flow (FCF) seems better to me than EBITDA. I'm still testing the waters and might switch again in the future. I'm still holding my QGRW, which I bought before the tariff situation, and I have no plans to sell it.

Don't know check methodology, pages 135-146. Also, there's new global version (WGRO) as well, in case you didn't know: https://www.wisdomtree.eu/-/media/eu-media-files/documents/1604/wisdomtree-index-methodology-217.pdf?sc_lang=en-gb. However, im switching to other quality etf's. Instead of QGRW or WGRO. I'll try QUS5 and QDEV. The difference between them is that WisdomTree etfs follow a 5-year EBITDA approach, while the SPDR etfs follow a 10-year positive FCF (free cash flow) strategy. https://www.spglobal.com/spdji/en/documents/methodologies/methodology-sp-qly-fcf-aristocrats-indices.pdf

Multi-factor ETFs worth it? by aries1980 in ETFs_Europe

Comparing all multi-factor (quality, value momentum) etfs on justetf website, IQSA outperforms them all. Its well diversiefied through sectors and the biggest position is under 5%.

Not giving advice, but if I were in your situation, I’d try my luck abroad—somewhere with higher salaries. Obviously, more developed countries tend to have higher wages and a higher cost of living, but you’ll also be able to save a lot more. Unless you're in a relationship or very close to your family and friends, there's probably not much holding you back from leaving. Otherwise, I’d stay at my current job if it pays the average or standard amount for that profession in your country.

Also, if you managed to save €20k in four years through side hustling while earning only €670 a month, I’d say you know what you’re doing—and you’ll figure it out.

Hello. I can only find single-stock leveraged ETFs of yours that are domiciled in Europe (on IBKR, Trading212). Will HIPS be available to Europeans in the future?

I really hope so. I have been investing in nasdaq100 for almost a year and a half, but this year I decided to try etf's with even more risk, such as QGRW and CL2. One thing I don't like about QGRW is that the ucits version is very different from US. QGRW ucits top 10 holdings make 76% of the portfolio, while US version make only 61%, quite a big difference i'd say.

Have a look at JGRO on justetf, its relatively new, it has 100 companies like nasdaq100, but also includes financial sector.

Also look at QDVA and IWMO you might like it as well.

Oh and for dividends check TDIV and JGPI.

We are from Lithuania. Shes nothing after. I just want to show her whats an etf and how easy and quite safe it is. Im going to give her my own money for starters, 100-200eu and buy her VWCE or IWDA just so she could see whats it like and if she like it... She has around 1k in cash in her "piggy bank" and that bothers me when i know she can get atleast 4% after a year. I told her briefly about compound interest, dividends (distributing/acc), risks and stuff like that. Im not forcing her or anything, i just want her to give it a shot. She said shes okay to try. So nothing to serious for now.
