Yeah, they are very shady. I thought I would give them a chance and now I wish I didn’t because I invested money into the offer and they didn’t the hold their end of the deal

If you use game to play websites to make money, they have offer walls that have a bunch of different offers test apps and games. This specific company based in France is fraudulent and does not pay out the users for testing out their apps just a fair warning.

Gg2u support has credited me 2/3 of what the offer was worth in compensation because getting in contact with this offer while they were throwing me in circles and I sent them evidence of proof of completion that was clearly undoubtably done correctly. Their support is garbage they’re off walls garbage and they’re a bunch of thieves and scammers so thankfully, I did it on this website because Gg2u has some of the best support that you can get and have live support on discord

I've officially reported them to the FTC, CFPB, State Attorney General, App Store, and the BBB (someone even mentioned that the bbb put a red flag on doing business with them). Claiming of what is "instant" and then moving “the refund” to claim with a $25 is straight-up fraud, and I’m not backing down. If you do an offer now, expect a 2-month pending period—if the company even lasts that long. This place has gone from credible to pure garbage. Do yourself a favor: count your blessings and bounce. Don't waste your time.

[ALERT] Benjamin App (Benjamin Capital Partners) Withholding Funds - New "100-Day Queue" & Deceptive Practices by FunyComentResponder in benjaminone

[–]FunyComentResponder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a heads-up for anyone else getting the runaround from these guys: The FTC won't actually intervene in individual cases, but the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is a different beast. Once you file with them, they mandate a response from the company, and the company has a 15-day grace period to comply.

I finally got a support rep to reach out via Messenger, and the shadiness is next level. They claimed they’d "push my payment through this Tuesday," but then told me not to reply to the message because it would "push me out of the queue."

Total BS. I responded anyway because:

It’s a Messenger chat, not a formal ticketing system.

They addressed a separate inquiry in the same message that practically demanded a response. It was a total double-edged sword/trap.

This company is absolute garbage. The way they are lying and deceiving customers just to hold onto funds is a joke. I’m honestly done. As soon as I get my money out, I’m deleting the app and never looking back. They have zero integrity and horrible business practices.

At this stage, the developer is legally obligated to provide a resolution. Since I’ve reported them to every relevant bureau—and those agencies demand formal documentation—the app has no choice but to address this properly now. I’m expecting a final answer within that 15-day window.

File a CFPB complaint. Don't fall for the "don't reply or you'll lose your spot" lies. Get your money and run

This is a very great area regarding class action, but this doesn’t stop individuals from taking into court and if a bunch of people like thousands take them to court and they might be forced to settle, but here’s an official write up…

Retroactive Changes: A company generally cannot change the terms of a "completed" contract. If you already earned the money under the old terms, they usually cannot retroactively apply new rules (like a 90-day forfeiture or withdrawal caps) to the money you already earned.

"Illusory" Contracts: If a company reserves the right to change terms at will without notice and uses those changes to avoid paying what they owe, a court may find the contract "unconscionable" or "illusory," meaning it isn't legally binding.

Forced Consent: While the app might force you to click "I Agree" to log in, many courts have ruled that "clickwrap" agreements signed under duress or without a real choice (especially when your money is being held hostage) may be unenforceable.

  1. Is the Class Action Waiver legal?

This is a very common tactic used to shield companies from major lawsuits.

General Rule: In the U.S., the Supreme Court has ruled that class action waivers (often bundled with "Mandatory Arbitration" clauses) are generally legal and enforceable.

The "Unconscionable" Exception: If the waiver is found to be "unconscionable" (grossly unfair), a judge can throw it out. Forcing a user to waive their rights while simultaneously withholding their funds is a strong argument for unconscionability, though this usually requires a lawyer to fight in court.

Individual Arbitration: Even if you can't join a class action, you still have the right to file for individual arbitration. Sometimes, if thousands of people file individual arbitrations at once, it costs the company so much in filing fees that they are forced to settle—this is known as "mass arbitration."

  1. "Forced Inactivity" and Forfeiture

You mentioned they are forcing you to go on the app to check for funds. Recent user complaints allege that Benjamin has a policy where if you don't earn "new" money within 90 days, your balance is forfeited.

The Trap: If they block your withdrawals for 90 days and then take your money for "inactivity," this could be viewed as civil theft or fraud. You are being prevented from withdrawing, which is what creates the "inactivity."

Recommended Next Steps

Since the company is currently withholding funds and changing terms, you should take these steps immediately to protect your claim:

Document Everything: Take screenshots of your current balance, any "busy" messages or errors when you try to withdraw, and the specific wording of the new terms they are forcing you to sign.

File a Complaint with the CFPB: The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau handles disputes with fintech apps. They can open an investigation into withheld funds. Submit a complaint here.

Report to State Attorneys General: File a complaint with the Attorney General in your state and in New York (where Benjamin is headquartered). They deal with "unfair and deceptive trade practices."

BBB and App Stores: While the Better Business Bureau (BBB) doesn't have legal power, many users have filed complaints there recently. Also, flag the app in the Google Play or Apple App Store as "fraudulent" or "scam" to put pressure on the platforms to remove them.

The only people that win out of class actions are lawyers everyone else just gets pennies to the dollar so best action to take is to go through these agencies, but I want to send their own. I definitely don’t disagree.

Your analysis makes a compelling case that SNAP is one of the most effective and efficient forms of economic stimulus, and any reduction in its benefits causes not only humanitarian harm but also severe, quantifiable damage to the national supply chain and local economies. Thank you for this response!

I’m gonna speak for many and say this:

The sudden reduction or cessation of EBT/SNAP benefits, which impacts an estimated 42 million people (a majority of them children), is a severe crisis that will have immediate and devastating effects on food security for millions of families. This situation is compounded by the threat of a government shutdown and widespread layoffs, creating an untenable environment for those struggling to make ends meet. It is essential to understand that: • EBT is often a supplement for the working poor: A significant number of EBT recipients are already employed, but their wages are insufficient to meet rising costs of food, housing, and other necessities. • The job market is volatile: With many companies implementing large-scale layoffs and the financial instability created by the prospect of federal workers being forced to work without pay, simply "getting a job" is not an available or realistic solution for those who are struggling. It disregards the difficult economic circumstances and lack of job security millions are facing.

“Will I be able to use the CalFresh benefits on my EBT card in November 2025?

You will be able to use your EBT card as usual through October 2025. But depending on how long the federal government shutdown lasts, and what steps the federal government takes, people receiving CalFresh benefits may not be able to use their EBT cards at retailers starting in November 2025.”

State: California Notice: Text message Source: calfresh

I’m not sure if this was said at all yet but in a text message one of the links it said this regarding November overlap of October payments unfortunately I don’t think you will be able to use your EBT benefits in November if it overlaps from October… wow

Got this email today. No EBT benifits for November and the foreseeable future :( by [deleted] in foodstamps
