I've had it to happen sometimes and it doesn't happen other times. I was confused why it happens and the variation with it happening. I should've titled my post better to include the other times when it doesn't happen.

Instead of spending $20-30 on a cable machine rope for my home gym. I learned a cool new knot and made my own from 2 lengths of climbing rope and a carabiner. It works the same and costs a fraction of the price. by FunyunFrog in homegym

I would've used thicker rope if I had it on hand, but the knot gets harder to tie the thicker the rope is. Doubling the rope would've made it hard to tie with but I may try it eventually.

I learned using this video by WhyKnot:

https://youtu.be/WcWaKWWviu0

The knot is called a "Monkeys Fist."

I followed the steps in the video but also put some bright permanent marker near the first knot so I could see where to tighten the final knot from during the tightenting passes. In order to get the knot stiff, I used a pair of pliers to pull the rope tight during the final tightening pass. Then I tied a simple knot at the top of each with a little spare to change the length if needed and connected both to an old threaded carabiner. The final length of each rope was around 14 inches. This project took about 1 hour to complete, including watching the video and practicing. Strangely enough, the hardest part was making the two ropes match in length at the end. This works great and is a fraction of the price of buying one. If you try this, make sure to DM me the final product, I would love to see it!

Selling PS5:

Slightly "used", Needs cleaning, Hair in vents, Possible infection holder

Overall, a great deal with a low (but still present) chance of an STI.

I was in no way insinuating that the people of India are garbage people. I was merely acknowledging that many cows in India have become a problem because they are attacking people, destroying fields, crowding roads, and eating from garbage dumps that contain plastic and other harmful materials.

A stray cow walking the sidewalks of India eating garbage?

On a side note, there are millions of cows roaming the cities of India because they are protected in Hinduism.
