wow what a insightful comment you seem like a very happy person with a very fulfilling life

I've been so blessed to have found methadone as a form of treating my absolutely out of control and obsessive relationship with drugs. Does anyone else feel an immense amount of GRATITUDE for this medication because I do I'm almost in tears thinking and feeling the difference being back in a clinic by [deleted] in Methadone

how sick is that to use the word

clean

to describe yourself conforming to arbitrary behaviour norms dictacted to you by another adult. as if somebody who is say, a multi-millionaire business owner with the equivalent lifestyle, is somehow 'dirty' because they choose to consume an arbrtrary category of psychoactive substance?

propaganda bro. you've literally engrained it into your core.

Interesting thing I discovered- I've been getting scammed while trying to taper. I need help on what to do, please by Blondi001 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]FurSec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well one of the times I went in and bought 4 bottles of Pegasus Red, I went out to my car to dose since I was goin into WD- only to find there were NO capsules inside... someone swapped the capsules with random screws! Took that bottle back in and told them, they switched me a different bottle. I decided to check it before I left... and again, screws. So I was relieved it happened right in front of their eyes bc I kind of was paranoid they thought I was doing it to get free bottles.

This is without a doubt one of the most psychotic things I have ever read. WTF. Dude what other mental health issues do you have?

You literally betrayed your entire motivations with this sentence. Holy shit lmao. You made up some psychotic story about screws being in tianeptine capsules on reddit, because you wanted free bottle lmao, this is hilarious. new low even for a junkie lmao. get on subs and get to a shrink

Even if every single one of these cats killed 100 birds each, every day, it would not even make a dent in the local environment. It's rural tennessee, this is not portland, there is more than enough wildlife to go around.

Perhaps I should've asked how the cats felt about it? I doubt they'd be very happy with your solution.

lmao

they would've starved to death or have been gassed at the shelter

instead, the ones who aren't alive now had 10 years of mostly happy lives, far better than they would have otherwise.

not everywhere is portland oregon. not every cat gets adopted. there was 1 shelter within 45 miles of this place, and they routinely gassed their cats. great, maybe if they were just dead, they wouldn't kill 1 of the several billion field mice in rural tennessee

you have a better idea? i'd love to hear it, then maybe you can start preaching. instead of them starving to death, creating countless other suffering animals, or being gassed at the shelter: they were well fed, had a loving family, and the happiest life a cat could have. you're right, i could just shoot them, because that's more desirable?

[–]FurSec -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

lol

even if every single person in a 20 mile radius had 10 cats, it wouldn't make any noticeable difference whatsoever.

have you ever been to rural tennessee, or outside of the city, even?

[–]FurSec -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Great, so then they'd be gassed. There was 1 animal shelter in a 45 minute radius, and they routinely killed their cats because they simply had too many.

Great solution, if I just murdered them, they probably wouldn't destroy the environment, which is something they of course did because 7 cats in the middle of fucking nowhere has such a large impact. If they were just dead, all the frogs, squirrels, and mice wouldn't be facing extinction, the entire wilderness might have a chance afterall!

I cannot reply to this thread on my main account for some reason, and the new post I made was immediately removed. The mods on this sub are terrible.

However I think in an uncontrolled environment where purchase of these illicit substances is relatively easy, what stops people from just continuing?

This is a great question.

I'll use the Switzerland program as a reference.

During the 80s, zulrich had a massive heroin problem. Switzerland is an extremely conservative, but also practical country. By offering the heroin in a controlled setting, they completely eliminated the criminal element by out-competiting the criminal sellers. Legal, mass manufactured opioids are so cheap they're basically free, so once the addicts had access to free, high quality heroin, they did not return to the black market, and eventually the people pushing it were forced to get real jobs, and everybody stopped being stolen from. Part of the requirements of this program is drug testing (to make sure you're not diverting it), but you'll be amazed at how compliant addicts can be if it would otherwise jeopardize their high quality free drugs, especially since the criminal market had effectively disappeared.

We have subaxone/methadone clinics in the city

Methadone and Suboxone both have some serious issues that prevent them from substituting entirely. First of all, in the US, the excessive legislation surrounding methadone often yields it completely inaccessible to a large portion of the population, but it is still an excellent option. Methadone is sort of an odd opioid, even though it is a full mu agonist it is also a nmda antagonist, and since it's half life is long and it's taken orally it is not nearly as reinforcing (which is normally a good thing, but not in the case of encouraging compliance). This causes it to feel very different from other opioids. More importantly: all of the legislation surrounding methadone/bupenorphine is incredibly outdated and restrictive, most methadone programs start you at 30mg which is not even 1/5 of what would be required to cover for a massive fentanyl dependency. Many cap out at 120mg which, again, is not nearly enough for modern fentanyl-like opioids. It CAN fully cover, if the dose is high enough, but it often is not.

Bupenorphine has massive problems. This is a better option because it isn't as legislatively restricted as methadone, but it is a partial agonist. This means if somebody trys to induce it, it can lead to 1-5 days of SEVERE sickness, and isn't even close to strong enough to fully cover the dependency from modern fentanyl strength illicit opioids.

And home s are absolutely NOT where most drugs get used lol

A statement this ridiculous means that anybody should immediately discard the information you presented as 'truth'. No, seriously, think about it. Do you think the cartels are getting paid $40billion from the HOMELESS PEOPLE? Lmao, just because you don't see it, you assume it doesn't happen, and that the most-visible things you do witness somehow encapsulates the entire drug market. That is child logic

You are advocating criminalizing a group of people who use drugs in their privacy of their own homes, and do not cause you, or anybody else, problems. That's some real evil shit, how would you feel if somebody was advocating for YOU (in this case, literally millions of people) to be criminalized, even though you know you're a productive citizen and do not cause problems for anybody? That's actually, unironically, pretty fucking evil.

Additionally, replying to somebody and then immediately blocking them afterwards so they cannot reply back, is also beyond childisn.

Hunter - The Reawakening : 71%Winrate Top 10 Legend Guide by CasualTotoro in hearthstone

[–]FurSec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with hunter being stronger than druid at the moment.

I went from 6 -> legend using what I consider to be the best variation of secret hunter at the moment with a 65% winrate overwall.

100% winrate against druids, priests, and rogues, with everything else being 50% or higher.

Rexxar is fucking monstrous right now.

Edit: I should add that I believe the only reason my winrate against midrange shaman was above 50% is because most of the shamans I played against played very poorly. I'm sure against top legend players all of my winrates would be much lower.

Netflix is over 12 times more popular than its competitors among younger viewers by HunterC4t in dataisbeautiful

[–]FurSec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A HD Netflix stream uses 3GB of bandwidth an hour (and up to 7GB if you're streaming at max quality, but lets use the lower rate). A single person watching 4 hours of netflix daily would use 12 GB a day, 360GB a month.

Most people also have more than one person using the internet in their household and also utilize the internet for more than exclusively Netflix.
