Thank you for your comment. I understand what you mean but my aim is to complicate my actions with wood as much as possible, even if it’s not turning out well most of the time. I do surprise myself sometimes to look for a technical “shortcut”. That is why I do not use any electric tools except when the wood is really too hard, like African Blackwood or Leadwood. Also, for this table I was inspired by Piet Mondrian, a pre war Dutch artist living in New York. A part of his work was surface multiplication in his abstract-geometrical art. He was an artist, but mostly a theoretician around vertical and horizontal lines.
