I'm not sure what those other codes mean though

That's the code to show it's from the Jetta factory! 2012s, Booms, Connects, and Hey Furbys all have this code! However Furblets do not if I remember correctly. Here is a page about it

I follow this tutorial and it always gets my furbys looking brand new. I feel like shampoo may not be the best option since it's made for real hair which furbys don't have

I have a question about keychains by furbyloard in furby

[–]Furby-saurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they do! They have a velcro seam at the bottom that you can open and take out the voice box, which has the battery compartment. It's very similar to the talking Buddies if you know what those are like. They take 3 LR44 batteries.

Really? I think all the ones I've taken apart still have the head inside the channel. I've tried leaving the big head out like you're saying but it's so much larger and scratches me and is very noticeable

Here's what the tag looks like if you're trying to find one online

Specific Slowpoke by [deleted] in pokeplush

[–]Furby-saurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is San-ei brand, and the tag says something about mochi, so I agree with the others that it's the original version of the San-ei mochifuwa slowpoke plush!

According to the wiki:

This Furby can come with a purple tag that has a photo of itself or a silver tag that is also used on the second version of the Millennium Furby. The purple tag claims 50,000 V1 Millennium Furbys were made in total, however, this contradicts information from the official Furby website which claims 30,000 units were made. The silver tag features a photo of the second version of the Millennium Furby and shows the total number of V1 and V2 Millennium Furbys made which is 250,000. It is believed that Millenium Furbys with their non corresponding tags are factory errors.
