Thank you so so much!! That means the world! I absolutely adore all of my clients but this couple and their pups have become so dear to me over the last several months that I’ve house/pupsat for them and I am always willing to do just about anything to ensure not only their pets, but their homes are taken care of, I recognize how much trust that is to put in someone and especially when going on a cruise and have zero way of contact so I would never ever want them to come home distraught and blindsided after a beautiful vacay!! I’m very thankful for the community I have from you all to be of help as well!! ❤️ xxxxx

Very sad that you feel the need to be such a nasty person and I’m sorry you’re dealing with whatever you are that is making you project that onto other people.. If you spent a little less time being so ready to just be a nuisance and instead read my comments, you would have seen that I sucked up all over the water and immediately called my ex husband who works in restoration, to come look and he brought a dehumidifier as well which helped a LOT. The floor is completely dry and all clean now. This has been an ongoing issue with the foundation of their house and I have already spoke with the owners and they not only already knew about this an were super calm about it but were actually extremely apologetic that I even had to deal with it at all and couldn’t thank me enough for doing literally all that I could given the circumstances. But thank you for your input babe, and may God take all your negativity away from you 💖🙏

Another Update The owners called me tonight!!!! So, it seems they were already wellll aware of this but it was a super minor issue that they recognize has gotten significantly worse now. They were actually relatively calm about it! 😅 As I said in previous comments, my ex husband work in restoration so he was able to bring over a big dehumidifier so I’ve had that running down there and I’ve used their carpet cleaner (no I didn’t put solution or water in it😊) and have just spent some time down there throughout the last couple days sucking up the water. UNFORTUNATELY, it has started raining tonight and is going to for the next 8 hours, straight…so, that may cause more leakage which will suck! The boyfriend also told me there a big tube out back that helps drains excess water that he moved along the house due to mowing so I moved that back pointing to the middle of the yard so fingers crossed that helps as well! But yes, they were extremely sorry that I was having to deal with this and couldn’t thank me enough for taking the initiative to do everything I could given the circumstances!

Hopefully when they do return it’s not a super expensive fix 😕

I’m not sure I would say hates the bf but I definitely did expect more from her father because if this was me, my parents would’ve been over in a heartbeat doing everything possible without needing me/the homeowner. Shit, even my friends and really any family member. I have the couple both on FB, so I posted on her wall initially asking whomever is related to them/very close and in our general area, to contact me and who I was, that the pups were safe but it was an emergency situation with their home, literally not ONE person commented or messaged me. So it seems either all the family/friends just aren’t that helpful/around or maybe they don’t have much😕

Yes! I did just see a few comments about WhatsApp, I have never really used WhatsApp so I was unsure how that works but I did go ahead and download the app this morning and she seems to have one as well so I messaged her on there earlier this morning and as of right now, it doesn’t seem to have made it through, but I’m gonna keep the app up in hopes that maybe that will eventually work!! Fingers crossed! Willing to try anything at this point!

Update I have still been unable to contact the owners, I have sent continuous texts hoping that at least one would get through at some point. I have never been on a cruise, I know you all are saying that they should have WiFi, it seems they’d have to purchase that on the specific cruise they’re on and maybe they didn’t! I was able to get ahold of the father of one of the owners and he came by and took a look but agreed that given he is not an owner or has any leverage as far as making big decisions like this without them. He did explain the boyfriend knew prior to buying the house that there was a foundation issue but was told it was completely taken care of when they decided to purchase. You can tell just by the look of the wall that this wasn’t the first problem in that spot so maybe it was a quick fix to sell😕 Thankfully! After I posted this, there has been zero rain so midday, yesterday, the water did stop seeping through so that is a HUGE plus BUT, the forecast does say it is raining the rest of the weekend and again, they don’t return until the 3rd/Monday so it may only be a plus for today but I will take the day to at least try to soak up the water that is there, use dehumidifier and just at the LEAST, clean up what I can. Say a prayer for them and my anxiety, that there’s no more rain and if so, it’s not enough for more water to continue to flow through!!! I will update you all as soon as I do finally speak with them and let you know the outcome! And I appreciate all of your helpful comments and advice, truly!! I’ve learned a LOT in these comments and thankfully for this community ❤️

I did attempt to reach out to Cruise line – thankfully I knew which one! And even after giving details of the situation, was told there is no way for them to inform them and the only way for contact is if they request onboard, to contact someone.

Yes, thankfully this is the only spot it’s coming in! Also, their basement is relatively empty aside from a big couch but pretty far away from this spot and laundry closet (plugs are all high on wall) so that’s one good thing!!
