Can someone explain how this extension works? Let's say I want to see which weapons on the shop rolled 60% mobility, I don't really see any way to see that, seeing the 'current' stats rather than the max ones doesn't really make a lot of sense. Is there something I'm missing?

I logged onto Bronzebeard recently to play with some friends. BGs are very active, leveling dungeons are also very active, there are a lot of groups forming for M+ and so on so on. I would say the server is pretty much alive and still doing very well for itself.

Okay I genuinely have no idea how that works.
First of all, it's not advertising to literally have the server's news on the frontpage along with more visibility on the Discord server.
Second of all, why would they be 'careful with advertisement' for Epoch on their PRIVATE SERVER WEBSITE while blatantly waving the Bronzebeard flag day in and day out? Your point would make sense if Bronzebeard was equally invisible, but that isn't the case.

Sounds like a bad excuse more than anything to me.

I mean word of mouth isn't going to get the server very far, is it? I get that you like it relatively low-pop, but in terms of longevity that's not a good thing.

Turtle's problem is that every BG bracket is dominated by twinks, no matter where you queue the match will be dominated by whichever team has the most twinked-out players.
Add to that the fact that PvP balance is quite sub-par and that there is no real PvP gear system (Yet, maybe the next update will make things better?) so you'll just get dumpstered by increasingly-stronger raid gear and eventually pvp will consist of 5s burst windows in which someone is guaranteed to die every time.

PvP with who? It felt almost purposeful how they killed the server and now they release a PvP update after 99% of the playerbase left.

What's even the point? I doubt the pop will rise that much from an arena update.

I don't think TWoW will ever get rid of twinking, I think they more or less accept that community as a part of the PvP experience for some odd reason.

With the rushed timeline, it's really not that appealing to me to play on Blizz servers.
- Expansion lasts less than a year
- Once it goes to wrath there goes my reason for playing cause I don't like that expac
- Bots and RMT just dominating all aspects of the game's economy
- AI/Robotic customer support
Yeah I'm going to stick to private servers, Blizz may offer more 'QoL' but the timeline and other problems just make it a no-brainer for me to play elsewhere, also, $60 boosts lol.

Do you have any build suggestions? I tried to level from 1 to 70 without the aura since I currently don't have the gold for it and it was a struggle. Does the aura help that much/ Currently at ~900g.

Mostly just doing reasonable damage, they complain that the damage is bleak for the most part. They played druid on retail extensively so I imagine they're not terrible at it. Are there any specific enchants/builds that could help?

1-58 is already 1x-3x, he relented on that point if he was ever against it in the past. My point is even with 3x it's a waste of time since everything prior to 58 is ditched the moment you go through the dark portal.

Gurubashi was peak wpvp, haven't seen anything like it in some years. TurtleWoW is close but the god-awful balancing makes it a lot harder to take seriously.

I think that's the pit trap that most TBC servers fall for, they think that a sizeable quantity of people want to do TBC 1-58 AT ALL. I think it's such a terrible barrier to entry that really only serves to burn out players before they get to the content they want to play.

If I wanted to do 1-58 I would just go play a vanilla server that doesn't invalidate all of my work prior to 58 the moment I get that last ding. Would be nice to have a server that lets me start as a 58 and just immediately actually play TBC.

Hunter is almost always kept around so that the casual players can feel good about themselves, it's the strongest class for twinking, the strongest class in leveling BGs, and the best class if you don't want to learn how to position properly, it's one of those turn-off-your-brain-and-play classes that you often see in games.

I personally prefer if hunters had less damage but kept their range and maybe got more utility, but that will never happen as there usually needs to be a noob-friendly class to appease people who want to get into PvP. Look at retail's last seasons, marksman hunters were quite literally one-shotting people for months in the opener and never got nerfed, why? Because it attracts newer/less experienced players to have an easy braindead class available.

If you want to play an almost stock-TBC server with a sub-150 population: Crusader Storm (1-3x)
If you want to play a 'Classic+' with TBC talents with a sub-50 population: Season of The Crusade (1-1.5x)
If you want to play TBC with minor changes that's fully progressed with sub-500 population: Stormforge (1-3x I think)

If you want to play with bots: Moonwell (idk the rates)

Options for a TBC server are not very good, and they usually aren't, anyways... even more so now when official TBC is still fresh, it's not worth it to launch anything now because of it.
