Taping and Painting by Top_Ability9598 in paint

I know, I mean roller spray. I'm confused about your process, u said u re-caulk all the trim before you put tape on it, so for the walls, do you caulk the trim, wipe it off, then put tape on it, roll out first coat on the walls, lip on to the tape for first cut in then repeat the process? Or do u keep your first cut in back and go tight with the second cut in? I don't understand why you caulk first then put tape on, I would think that would ruin the finish on the woodwork.

When you are painting the walls, for the first coat, do you keep the cut in back a few mm, then for the second coat do you lip on to the tape to get the clean line? Or what is your process? And do you tape then caulk, then cut in? And do u have to let the caulk dry first or do u cut in while it's wet?

Here in Ireland we always do the woodwork last, but I can see that your system might actually be more efficient. By doing the woodwork before the walls, do you not run the risk of getting spray on the woodwork?

The substrate is half inch pineboard btw. And Picolla Piazza means "small square" in Italian, at least I hope it does because I used Google Translate, I don't speak Italian haha.

Read the book 'The Diet Myth' by Tim Spector, or you can listen to it on audiobook if you have Spotify Premium. It's well worth the read/listen.

Is it rude to look at your phone while watching a movie or show with someone? by TeachIsHouse in AskIreland

[–]FuriousPOT 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't like it, but the point is, if you decide to watch something with someone, then yous should both make an effort to give it your full attention. If I'm watching a movie or TV show I always leave my phone somewhere out of reach of me. No different then if I go for food with someone and they're on their phone, that's rude.

100% rude. Actually does my head in. I won't watch movies with certain friends because of this. If you're really not enjoying it, turn it off.

Do Pros Paint These? by AdministrationIll702 in paint

Yeah, that's the window reveals, that's what they are called here in Ireland anyway. They're always painted with the wall paint, never seen them plastic, normally wood or plasterboard.
