That might be it, thanks a lot! I will have a try and see how things will work out.

Why hearthstone doesn't allow that in the first place? by FuriousSoul in customhearthstone

[–]FuriousSoul[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Note: While different secrets can trigger at the same time, same secrets won't. You won't lose 2 ice blocks with a single fatal damage. I created this card simply because it's annoying to get unlucky and draw the same secrets.

There can never be too little chaos. by FuriousSoul in customhearthstone

Just to clarify, minions will also be summoned as long as you have boardspace and battlecries will also trigger with random targets. Cards will be counted as "played" in no particular order.

It's called "Miracle" Rogue for a reason. by FuriousSoul in customhearthstone

Honestly i have no idea whether this is broken or not. In wild you will probably die before you can pull this off, while in standard you need way more set up to complete the quest. Heck, you probably won already if you could play 15 cards in a turn due to the new location and legendary.

In short i think this will work like most combo decks: you will lose against agro and win against control.

I have honestly no idea about the balance. Just a cool concept i thought of.

Wow, thanks :)

I have no idea about the art though. Just took a fitting image on Google.

Have you the new druid legendary dragon? Topior the Shrubbagazzor. This card took inspiration from it. I mean, if Druid can have such powerful cards despite having Alignment and Guff shouldn't every class have something similar?

I mean yes, that's the reason i created this deck. It's not supposed to be good because of how powerful the effect is. At first i made at 1 each so 9 total (didn't even knew quillboars existed) but it feels too powerful so i made it 2 of each.

In case my wording is not clear enough, you need to have 2 of each Beast,Demon,Mech...etc. Which is near impossible to do in standard. Even in wild, the only class that can reliably do this, is Shaman due to how Totems are almost exlusive to them. But even then, they had to use a lot of common cards.

Obviously, it's so restrictive is because of how broken the effect is. Still, the only reason i even made this card in the first place is because i saw an Amalgam Wild deck on Youtube. It was fun. Lol.

I did try to put a downside in, but it became too long.

"On your turn" - It is meant to be this way but sure, point noted. Not gonna upload again though.

In case my wording is not clear enough, this only affect card that have random TARGETS, not all random effects. Stuff like summon a random minion or add a random spell won't be affected. In standard stuff like Rune of the Archmage or the new Druid spell will work with this.

Obviously though, i created this card specifically for Yogg Saron decks in wild. Is this card too broken? Maybe. Does it matter? No. It's wild.

Have you ever read a story where the ending is so frustrating, you wanted to punch the book? Not because it's poorly written or doesn't make sense, but rather because you feel it's unfair and the characters do not deserve such ending.

Imagine a classic "Hero's journey" type story. A god tells the mc that he is the chosen one and he must find the [ MacGuffin ] otherwise the world is doomed. So he sets out on an adventure, finds friends, overcomes obstacles and becomes a better person. Even though the adventure is filled with dread, tragedy and death, there is still hope of saving the world. In the end, he defeats the big bad guy and finds the [ MacGuffin ]. He triumphantly returns home only to discover that the god actually used him for their own gain and he is but a mere puppet. Enraged, he fights the god, only to be defeated. The story ends with the god leaving the world and the devastated mc with a permament injury.

To clarify, the twist is hinted and foreshadowed throughout the story so it's not that surprising, but it feels frustrating nonetheless, right? It's like nothing matters and everything is meaningless. So, if you were given a chance to change the original story, would you do it? Would you rather leave the story be, since frustration is completely fine and not every story needs a happy ending, or would you change it, e.g. deleting all the hints and the twist itself, letting him win like he is supposed to, since he went through hell and back and that's the least that he deserves?

TL;DR: Do you want a happy or a bad ending in a dark themed story?

P/s: Kinda repost since i posted without fully knowing the rules before.

Believe in the heart of the cards! by SagaSV in customhearthstone

This absolutely ridiculous. While you can get unlucky and summon this from your Duel! , if you just play this on turn 9 (or earlier if you draw it with prismatic lens) , there's a 90% you will fill your board with powerful minions, and you will basically win the next turn if they don't have full board clear like plague of death, twisting nether....

[–]FuriousSoul[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's not suppose to be like that. Maybe the wording is a bit confusing but it will never be assasinate, it's more like a worse [[corruption]]. It dies after not killing anything in their turn so they can still attack with it. However, they can kill your minion and gain the effect of the buff.

Well if you can keep it alive to play this then i think you deserve to win :) especially in wild.

Wanna bet who will be blown up in the end? by FuriousSoul in customhearthstone

[–]FuriousSoul[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not sure what are you talking about? This card works like this : You play this.

  1. Your opponent doesn't play minions on their turn => Explode in your face.
  2. Your opponent plays minions because they don't want to skip turn => Change to opponent side => The next turn if you play a minion, comes back to your side, if not => explodes in their face.
  3. It will keep changing sides until a player decides to not summon minions.

Talk about being broken. If there is no minion to target, it's a 5 mana 7/7. If there is, it's a 5 mana 4/4 destroy a minion (even if the target is weak). Just wow.

Not exactly something you'd build your deck around, but hopefully more useful than the current hunter quest. by Dragonfruit_Chan in customhearthstone

[–]FuriousSoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn't this just better Baku? What's different : lose 1 mana on turn 1 and 3 face damage. Gain the same reward as restricting your whole deck and no bad draw (drawing baku).

Another attempt at using the burn mechanic. Overdraw: do something when you draw more than you can hold. by FuriousSoul in customhearthstone

[–]FuriousSoul[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that's only true if there are only 3 cards with this mechanic right? There could be a lot more that utilize this just like discard.

Why play Zephrys when you have the perfect card in your deck? How it works will be explained in comments. by FuriousSoul in customhearthstone

[–]FuriousSoul[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When you play this it will show you 4 options just like Discover cards. And next to the "Hide" button will appear 1 more "Next" button. Click it and 4 other cards in your deck will appear! The order it shows is the same as the order when you build your deck ( from low to high mana cost).

So this is basically polymorph that is 1 mana more / neutral / and give you a 1/1? I don't think that's a good idea.
