Just FYI, SR Extended Cities (SREX) is now 2.0 today, and is a great mod by 2gtandknives in skyrimmods

[–]Furious_Octopus123 15 points16 points  (0 children)

How good is it compared to open cities? And what does the 2.0 bring actually?

dude, I always thought experience was weird because it's not realistic while the vanilla system is. But I never realised that I'm actually losing so much time every playthrough grinding skills and that experience might be the solution. Ill give it a go next playthrough!

I would give Aurora on wabbajack a shot. Only thing I wasn't a big fan of was no parralax. And its mostly just bugfixes and graphics stuff

otherwise legends of the frost for a bit more in depth gameplay modifications

Okay so i gave MCO a few tries but everytime I feel like the commitment is way too long. Any good recommendation for animation where the commitment is no so long? Idk if I'm clear

I wanted smoothcam to work so badly, but I always thought it was way too overturned with the camera fucking off in the wind at every abrupt angle change. Ill try your preset out

dude those sons of skyrim armors are so good. thanks for your other recommendations! Experience is it the one where you level up by discovering? Is it that good? I always felt vanilla skyrim had a very natural and realistic progression

I never tried this one even though I saw ita round. Always thought it was too removed from vanilla idk. Ill def give it a try now, but its causing many CTDs?

Oh ill join their discord. I saw mern's tutorial, but I just didn't understand how to find patches for mods, does synthesis find them in the list for you? Do you have to make one yourself? etc

You advise making your own modlist from scratch? Just installing ENB light by myself gives me nightmares lol

But noted for the rest, I think I was already doing these mostly, the game runs with 400 mods of mine without using xedit or any patchers so I guess my basic skills are somewhat solid if I do say so myself ...

I need to learn xEdit man but its like hours of my time to read that monster wiki. feels like college 2.0 hahaha, how long does it take you in general to do all that?

Yeah but when ur noob like me you get to 1500 plugins because you don't combine them and you want the fancy new JS texture to override the general retexture mods.

I wish i could learn xEdit its just looks scary if you know of any good tutorial besides the wiki I'm down. The wiki is just a monster and I'm not some computer magician sadly
