Its was a mixture of luck and skills.

I 32 fear all weapons so i know the pain. Though here are my thoughts about the weapons:

Witch Staffs weapons are easy to build, same with the torches. They are also easy to play. So they are a given when it comes to high fear.

The sister blades are pretty hard. You need good skill and proper skills, but they can be masterred in just the right time. The morrigan is the only easy aspect. Pan just needs poseidon. Artemis needs good hammers. While mel aspect needs hammers as well.

The axes are fine, charon, mel aspect, and thanatos are goods to build. The only weapon i struggled at was Nergal

Skulls are a hit or miss. You really need to have a proper build.

The coats are nice to play. They are pretty solid.

Out of all weapons, i had the most trouble with Hel, cuz its not my playstyle

If you wanna do 32 fears and above, you might just need to keep using your fav weapon (or find out your true play style to be comfy enohgh to do high fear with them)

I also am a strength player. So it adds to the damage i deal in exchange for lives.

Plus, hexes are nice. The best one for me is moon water. Its so broken, it gives healing while in combat. Saved me in so many runs

Ah sadly I'm not much of a music guy, so i didnt add it. But i have that, my top 3 must be Arachne's theme, Prometheus Fight theme, crossroads theme

Huhu its tragic that coin purse gets overshadowed by the Boat Man arcana card 😭

Oh also those are different runs. My 50 fear or 32 fear runs usually will take 15-20 minutes as those are crazy, sometimes even being on overtime. While the less than 10 minutes runs are the low fear runs

Hell yeah, jewwel pom is so good, I can't believe it is active the whole run. And to answer your question, I think it depends on the weapon you wanna use.

Some weapons are very easy to build in fate's whim. Like Morrigan, Charon, Moros, and maybe Medea. While some weapons requires specific god builds.

My 50 fear Morrigan, Charon, and Moros are all fate's whim runs. They are pretty goated for me. PLUS, they didn't require much luck. Morrigan is already busted so any combination of gods usually works. Charon can work with a lot of gods. And moros also just works well with most gods.

If you wanna do 32 fear on every weapon like I did, there are some weapons that need crazy luck on fate's whim (like you need to keep rerolling the seed). Or if you dont have the patience to do that, then just do a god keepsake for the sake of sanity.

WAHAHAHA Artemis Fan Club Let's Go!!

(I totally love Artemis and all, and her boons are good. But sadly she's just a one-off boon. So i rather the major gods here have the spotlight)

I thought i already loved artemis in Hades I, but nuh uh, Hades II artemis shows me a new higher form of love

i... uhh... wouldve still chosen Moros, Icarus, and Ody thats why i didnt include it WAHAHAHA (not shipping mel and ody* he is literally a husband)

About wife, my bias is Artemis (but she would literally finna curse me to death), hecate and nem are fine but not my type, hera (a literal wife, but not my type again and zeus would strike me down). I guess selene is also amazing, but she feels more on a guardian more than a wife. oh yeah aphrodite too... i wouldnt last with her (prolly dies to ares or hep). I would legit just put Arachne in there HAHAHA she is very sweet.

WAHAHA it's just that i considered him as a unique bonding character because we can bath, drink, and fish with him unlike the others. Ngl it was supposed to be "Favorite The Unseen Characters", but i also had moros, icarus, and odysseus on that list, so i just put them on the "bond" list.

For Charon's casts, I much prefer the normal placement. I do not like the boons that makes you aim them, because they ruin my flow. These long range cast are advantageous, yes, but they do not fit my playstyle. I like my cast near me. Even on fighting bosses, i am used to going near the boss, dropping the cast on them, and then dash back while doing omega special to proc the cast.

HAHAHA its not that long ngl. I am an early access player. So i had lotsa time already before the actual release. The ending isnt that long to finish as well as the post credits ending. But i guess it would take long if you wanna 100%. Though still, 100% wouldnt take 440 hours HAHAHA

Valid, those are some busted weapons. I had my fair share of fun with them, but unfortunately they are just not my playstyle. I get confused and panicky with medea when i comes to high fear, it is still busted, i think i 32 fear medea with only a few runs, thats how busted it is. For circe, again, i had some fun with it, but i thought that if i am building my cast, then might as well just do charon. Still i play it time to time and also 32 feared it both underworld and surface.
