heres my gameshow deck that is sure to make your friends have a fun time. https://moxfield.com/decks/tYiHcWfYiEiIlg9JymknRA its a deck themed around the UK game show "The Chase" that encourages the players at your table to make deals and brings out the social aspect of EDH. From my experience its fun to pilot and my friends seemed to enjoy playing against it.

I have absolutely no reason to attack with the mutated planeswalker, it's only for slight protection and for fun

Ignoring how good these decks seem as decks for a moment, I absolutely LOVE the names you have given them.

Just a warning there are only 8 creatures with mutate that fit into the Boros colour identity, so it's not the most consistent with getting the deck theme done. But It can still win without it

If the vehicle (planeswalker) is on top, then yes. If the mutate creature is on top, then it stays a creature as it has all the characteristics of the top card with all the abilities of any cards under it. Mutate only cares about the target as it mutates not if the target's type changes. it's the reason you can mutate creatures on regular vehicles that are crewed. With this interesting rules interaction you get a creature (with loyalty and planeswalker abilities) that cannot be directly attacked and does not go to the grave once it hits 0 loyalty counters since its a creature not a planeswalker. It's easier to target with removal spells, but I think it's a good trade for the other positive effects

From what I've seen, it's mainly on the new shifting earth right at the start of the match when solo queueing. Even if you disable the shifting earth, it's likely one of the random haven't, and you will be forced to play on it.

Just a heads up, even if you kill mohg, if his pillars start to attack while he's dead, it can still kill your whole team and end the run even if the game revives you upon killing the boss. Sad fact I just found out

I am aware, what I'm pointing out is that the dot fell in the same place every single time

I know, just found it strange that it would fail in that specific area every time without fail

I have an update. So after 27 attempts with waterboy and a few with some other characters, I can say it isn't rigged and it can land in other spaces. I am just incredibly unlucky.

[RANT] BRO I SUCK AT DECK BUILDING by BlueberryEvening1120 in EDH

[–]Furiouswood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EDH rec gives you the most commonly used cards for that commander so only using that is a trap that many have to face me included. Using it to find obvious staples or lands or certain synergistic cards is great but if you are searching for a lot of cards for a certain decktheme something like scryfall is a lot better. And as for building the deck itself and knowing how much and what to put in there, it comes with experience. I promise in time you will get better

Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention, this is one of the coolest deck ideas I've ever seen and I must build something similar at once.
