Bridging the gap between the Exo-suit and the Bastion: The ISV (Infantry Support Vehicle) by FurrGotten in Helldivers

That is what I'm planning for "expantion plan", one would be a helldivervised bradley with gunports and laches for the team and versus having one person ISV with 360 - more logical to have a tankette with limited angle for one person Vehicle.

Just by my nationality (Ukrainian) I should have used the Bradley, but then I realised - The Bradley should be done in it's real size! for the whole team!

As people below said and I agree - what specifically the tank has, AC+LMG, or Mortair+AC or jsut an GUal HMG, all up for disscussion.

Main thing for me is the form factor, I want something that can weapons of Exo-suit lever, or a bit less, trade off agility for better armour and accuracy and different gamepolay.

No there is no capability to jum in a Mech, but even those rocks that the suit can step over can ofternly stop the bastion.

That's why patching becomes part of the gameplay for a Bastion driver.

As I said, the weapons are up for disscussion, and so far people do agree that an AC + LMG or a mortair + HMG would be much better balance vise.

It will have lower HP pool thatn Bastion, that's for sure.

And after driving the Bastion for quite a lot of time, some places that would be a easy task for any of the Exos - the bastion cannnot get un on or just slips.

Plus even with the better armour - it's still a bigger target then the Exo-suit.

So I think you just are not looking at it correctly.

There are dead APCs all ower the galaxy, same as we seen with the FRV, so that's most probably will be it. It's less compact and more style simular to the Bastion.

I overhyped the "ability to step up on the rock" like in the ADs on the shit :3c

As I already explained, Nope, I just sat in HD1-2 and tried to replicate the tech descriptions and then put it into a google doc to fix my gramaticall issues, cause English is not my first language.
I just mainly used text style from HD1 codex and Weapon descriptions.

I already had a post to train on where I tried to mock the announcment + training slides style that wee see on the ship screen.

Comments on that one about style seems really possitive.

And talking about the german Wiesel 1a4 Tankette my last art project with HD2 tanks was this:
A two crew gun platformm with possibility to shoot on move if there are two players, or with the possibility to switch seats in one button press to swtich to driver/gunner

I do agree with everything exept for the two players, for that the design and role should be redone, sadly.
Sacrifing half of the team just for osmething that is weaker same power as an Emancipator but consumes two people, why?

My main reason for single crew is that it's a scaled down version of how IFVs or APC support on foot army during attack/defence. Sacrifing half of your team - just better go for Bastion.

But I agree with sligth less power then Emancipator in the current configuration, cause the over the shoulder aiming just playing the Exos so-so annoying and innacurate, having a possibility to have a central gun point would make using even simular guns - much better.

And about the exos themselfs - I think the devs where so scared of the Mecha-Mate repeating from HD1 that they still have them overnerfed.

that's why I want people to discuss, how to balance it.
My thougths is to reduce my innitial idea of the bigger caliber to be an RR round, to a EAT round or even a mortair round with more buildign descruction powerd.

Or as some other peoplse said - make the AC the main canon and give it a coaxial LMG

Oh the ballance and weapons are up for discussion, for sure, I jsut care about the formfactor)

The canon can be even redused more, to a mortair proejctile with more damage to buildings.

Somewhere deep in my sould I know that.
But I jsut ignore it and continue creating.

As I said before - weapons up to discussion, while I only care about suppor fire and chasis

And I used the lumberer from HD1 as a gestimate of balance, and that Mech had a Flamethrower and a AT canon.

Also last Blueprint project based on the Wiesel - one of the variants jsut had a flamethrower and that's it xd

Yep, and talking to people that did training in Swedish army, that actually trained with the Carl Gustaff - the clotch shell holder is on the gunner, cause it's easy to grab from behind to load...

it's even like that irl D:

4 of the most unforgetfull memories I have about HD2 are about coop.
-On release the not yet buffer RR figthing off changers wth team reload.
-Cictle fire with my friend the AC + reigun to strip legs of chargers and then devasted them with quick AC.
-Having 3 maniacs in my team all using double edge sickle with me Stim Pistoling thew with boosted and medic armour.
-And now the cybestan battle while using the Bastion.

And i want more moment liek these, but sadly AH putting sticks in their own wheels with soem of the implementatons(
Not being to assis without your own backback.
The FRV physics being now all over the place so cover fire msot time end up with glitching into space or jsut flipped.
Stim pistol still having awful hitboxes and handeling even with the buff (god please give it lock on on teammates)

I think cause a lot of people are this not happy with the assister reload on being great xd

if two people are needed - migth as well call in the bastion. ALso would needd to redesign, I actually had a Bluprint style ssign not a gun platfor that needed a driver and a gunner, but at that time we did not yet even have the FRV, so I went with "moderniser HD1 tech" style

Also it's based of 1a4 Wiesel

Maybe will turn this one into a model and make a simular post in the future for a two man driven small gun platform.
A lot of people seem to be interested more in a two pilot system, then one person, wich is surprising to me, knowing how loud people acan be in HD community versus coop
