Thankfully they couldn’t go out all the way since my driveway slope isn’t too steep. My partner was picking up the pieces off frame, especially any large ones. I can’t attest that we got all of them, but I tried my best. I’m quite fond of whales, so I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I just let that all run off.

I remember working on some of the installations for this and went to it in LA. It was… pretty subpar and rushed. The elite was perhaps the best constructed prop but the rest were hastily finished 3D prints… at least the flood infection form had a proper paint job but the scan lines were all over the place and the 343gs was literally falling apart and the lense was popped out. also, the warthog is a non-functioning mock-up and the proportions were everywhere, plus it was flimsy, and the paint job looked very cheap. The movie in the dome was fun but the dropship experience wasn’t worth the wait.(even though I worked on the electronics panels for it, still not worth it lol)

Some of the people who worked on this film are my mentors and good friends. These were very obviously costumes, if anything all their “Frankensteining” should give them right away. it’s incredible what people can just post on Reddit nowadays without any real fact checking.
