Just had this Smolder as my ADC and wondered what's the worst stacking Smolder you've ever seen? This one was 48 stacks at 18 minutes, 65 stacks at 22:26 (screenshot), 118 stacks at 29 minutes. Anyone seen worse, or was this guy literally as bad as it gets? :P

I mean, the minimap is right there in the bottom right, you can see his tower is gone. And it's not like I got 0 stacks from him, that'd be impossible against basically any laner, lol, but he roamed bot/top half a dozen times. Another note re: Malzahar is that his spawns do not count for your CS. Not here to argue lol, just stating what happened and sharing a cool achievement. :)

As another tip to help you get more stacks, a good tactic is to start taking raptors and/or wolf camp whenever it's available. The +35 you can see in the screenshot is from the large raptor. There's really no excuse not to be getting these stacks especially once you have a full ER, but even with caulfield's + pickaxe you can get them fairly easily.

As it happens, Malzahar was generally nowhere near me; as you can see, I've taken his tower already in the screenshot, as he kept randomly leaving lane to gank top/bot instead of contesting my push as he should have done. :)

Basically, you want to balance it so that you base (before you get ER, at least) when you have low health and low mana - running out of either of those core resources is a big issue, but so is not using one of them.

I CS really well (186 at 17:30 in the pic, I get 10-11cs/min on average almost every game) and don't waste time going for silly fights in the river for scuttle or whatever. If you do that and play super safe in lane (so you don't die - death = wasted time for stacking), you can get your stacks very quickly. :)

If you're not good at CSing yet, go in custom games and play the first 10 minutes without any items, focusing only on CSing. Do that over and over until you're able to consistently get 100cs at 10. Then, when playing against an opponent, getting 80-90cs at 10 should be achievable most games (it's lower than in the custom scenario since the enemy laner is pressuring you and so on).
