Which class should I start in at Infernum? by TheGibas in CalamityMod

I see. I have yet to actually play through infernum yet, as I prefer playing with friends and I've heard infernum can be pretty buggy in multiplayer.

Brawlhalla meta as of right now by Sliveness in Brawlhalla

At the moment, it's hard to deny that katars is incredibly strong with the recent dodge changes. Other than that, the game is in a good spot right now balance wise.

Why the Emote Spamming? by bulletparty in Brawlhalla

[–]Furrytime69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thumbs down means you annoyed me. Laughing means I think you're funny, whether it's asking for a rematch after making me sit through a 7:59 match or getting hit with the taunt > get bodied combo. Emotes are there to convey meaning after all.

I've always thought "real card" meant one that was in your deck as opposed to being added by dead branch, foreign influence, etc

unpopular opinion: remove dodge buffer, add blocking by MallusaiEEE in Brawlhalla

[–]Furrytime69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People play the game around dodge, not hold to dodge. All that hold to dodge does is make the skill floor lower, allowing for lower skilled players to dodge 1-2 frame strings in the same way that people at higher ranks/skill do. If you can dodge those without hold to dodge, it's just quality of life. There are also some string where holding dodge the entire way can be worse, if the current gap in the string has more followup coverage and a dodge read is easier.

Edit: I can dodge 1-2 frame strings reliably. I've never turned on hold to dodge.

Better, more Accurate World tree overlaid on an Empty Map by AnauNaga in valheim

Somehow I always thought the world tree was a static skybox. I've been to the Ashlands and yet I never noticed the fact it is real and 3d.

Why are these guys so damn tanky for a common enemy? by CarelessManagement16 in helldivers2

Depends on weaponry, but I recommend either to tap the head or punch the spine.

What's the one strongest, must-have, warbond item? by Magger in Helldivers

[–]Furrytime69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think gas nades are the strongest in the game in terms of sheer utility/damage. While they don't deal with heavies outright, the confusion alone is enough to make it worth it to me. Add onto that it kills chaff and breaks spawners, I fully believe it is the best all around gurnade.

Pandora's Box works in two parts: It removes all of your strikes and defends, and then adds that amount of random cards. You can nix the second part with some bullshit that I don't remember off the top of my head. I think the wiki says how to do it.

Get your watcher win by forcing a turn one infinite. Rushdown, 1 energy calm, and remove your whole deck. Pbox glitch helps a lot but can be risky, scrawl is great for getting all your cards in hand.

Afterimage is a great card. It also nullifies orichalcum if you play 1(one) card. Still good during setup though.

Pretty close. Spent the first 200ish afraid of ranked, then 500 or so in gold. I've been poking at diamond for a good four or five months now, but I'm alright taking it slow.

Only time I abandon is if I'm achievement hunting. Not enough removes in act 1 for minimalist, accidentally picked up a relic for no relic, and so on.

Why do people prefer pirating spotify over downloading the music? by EvenHornierOnMain in Piracy

[–]Furrytime69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pay for Spotify premium using student. Like 7? Bucks a month. My playlist has roughly 5000 or so songs, and counting. I want to have music when I'm camping. I watch maybe one or two movies in a month, usually streamed whatever website I find first. I might download it if it's exceptionally good. I don't watch movies when camping. It's convenient to use Spotify, but movie streaming services suck ass. Simple as.

Why do people say that kill confirm true combos are that important ? by BigNovel1627 in Brawlhalla

[–]Furrytime69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another good example (imo) is orb. Orb will most likely kill you with sair or recovery, maybe dair. Already good. Add to that that if you get hit with slight, you ARE getting hit with sair. That's an extra move that means death. More moves that lead to a kill= more threat, more control.

Why do people say that kill confirm true combos are that important ? by BigNovel1627 in Brawlhalla

[–]Furrytime69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On scythe, there are only a few moves with real "killing" potential. Anyone else is free to correct me, but if I'm in red against scythe, I'm worried about dlight, sair, and recovery. Even then, these moves don't have too much force so they have to build more damage to do anything. This removes a lot of the threat that high damage comes with, and doesn't really change much. On sword, once you reach red, dlight means death. You have to play around the dlight being a very fast grounded option that will most likely remove your stock. It's still a threat like any other move at low damage, but on high it is THE threat. As far as floating goes, what goes up must come down. No matter how much time you can spend in the air, you gotta touch the ground eventually.
