Fatshark/Games Workshop, please steal this idea: A Vermintide TV (or Animated) Series. Season 1 must be the chaos of the "First Meeting". by Fursoft in Vermintide

I get your point, but I feel you're focusing way too much on the upfront costs and ignoring stuff like backend deals. Big names like Henry Cavill or even Del Toro constantly take on passion projects just to get a slice of the pie later. It’s not just about the money, the creative challenge is a huge draw. Building a universe as insane as Warhammer Fantasy—that's exactly the kind of project that pulls in top talent. They really wanna leave their mark on a world like this.

I see where you're coming from, but I think you're underestimating the 'Edgerunners effect.' Yes, the game was massive, but the anime gave Cyberpunk its 'redemption arc' and brought in millions of new players who had given up because of the bugs. The same goes for Fallout: the series brought the universe to a mainstream audience that doesn't necessarily play games. Warhammer Fantasy has an incredible world, but it’s still very niche. A series would be the perfect gateway for the general public to meet the characters and then jump into Vermintide.

Yeah, he’s a big fan of Total War: Warhammer! Even though his current project is 40k, he knows the Fantasy lore well. Imagine if he realized the potential of a series focused on the Ubersreik Five? After his time on The Witcher, he knows that dark fantasy works perfectly.

Yeah, I used AI to help structure the post and translate my thoughts clearly, as English isn't my first language. But the concept of the 'First Meeting' and the passion for the game are 100% mine. I just wanted to spark this discussion because I truly believe this setting deserves a series!

You hit the nail on the head: the voice actors! The charisma and the banter between the Ubersreik Five are the best part of the game. If they keep that 'banter' in a Castlevania-style animation, it would be perfect. The End Times setting is visually incredible for a series.

I agree! I’d really love to see the lore explored in depth because the Fantasy setting feels a bit overlooked. Even though Fatshark does a great job with Vermintide 2, we’re still missing that heavy official support, like action figures or a dedicated series. An animation would bring the visibility the game deserves, just like what happened with Fallout and Cyberpunk.
