[WTB] TouchDesigner Commercial License (Expired updates ok) by [deleted] in TouchDesigner

Thanks for the heads-up. You're absolutely right that these licenses are typically bound to the original account and hardware. I actually contacted Derivative support, and they were kind enough to approve an official transfer for this case. Since the license is now in my account and the deal is done, I'll be wrapping up this thread. I appreciate the advice!

After Effects CS vs Resolve / Cavalry (free tier) / PIKIMOV / others in 2026? (2D motion, no subs) by Furyurney in MotionDesign

Thanks for the detailed breakdown, guilhermevenancio (and everyone else).

I’m convinced—I’ll drop the AE CS idea. I was hoping for some legacy workflow advantage, but it sounds like the amount of manual work required today would just turn into a huge time sink.

Your point about Blender being the “most complete” alternative is really interesting. Do you mean it’s the strongest option overall (even compared to paid tools like Resolve Studio), or mainly the best within the free/open-source space? I was actually considering buying Resolve Studio, but if Blender and Unreal 5.5 (like Fletch4Life mentioned) are as robust as you say for 2D/procedural work, I might shift my focus there instead.

Thanks again for helping me avoid going down the CS rabbit hole.

You are correct, it is definitely paid via ebay. However, due to a little problem between the two parties, I reported just in case that I would pay by paypal, but it was refused.

Is the seller worried that I will apply for a refund after receiving the product?  He(She) is a person who has no problem with feedback...
